As we wrap up the year, I wanted to take the time to reflect on this year's themes for myself and lessons I have learned (or not lol).
I am finishing my Year 6. In numerology, a 6 Personal Year signifies a cycle focused on home, family, love, responsibility, nurturing, healing, and community, bringing themes of domestic harmony, relationships (marriage, kids, friends), caretaking, and finding balance in personal life. It's a time for settling down, creative projects, financial responsibility, and stepping into service roles, often emphasizing duty and finding peace through supportive connections.
Love & Relationships: A major focus on deepening bonds, marriage, children, family matters, and friendships.
I definitely deepened my bonds with my mother, little cousin, and some friends. I feel as though it is a work in progress, as most relationships are, but I am happy with the direction they are headed in.
Home & Hearth: Ideal for home improvements, moving, creating a stable domestic environment, and nurturing your living space.
My home life has been on a downturn this year. I have not been able to nurture the space I am in given the person I am cohabitating with has made that nearly impossible. I am looking forward to getting my own space next year, that's for sure.
Responsibility & Duty: You'll feel compelled to care for others, handle obligations, and may take on more caretaking roles.
I started out the year raking care of someone who needed more help than I should have gave. I realize after doing some of my asteroids that this is a wound I have that needs healing. Can't pour from an empty cup.
Healing & Service: A strong pull towards healing professions, helping others, and finding purpose through service.
I already work in hospitality. Part of my job is creating beautiful memories for others. It is my favorite part of my job actually. In regard to the person I am living with currently, my contributions to the household have significantly helped them financially. Not that they appreciate it.
Creativity & Harmony: A time for creative expression, bringing beauty into your life, and striving for emotional peace.
I cannot say that I have been leaning into my creative endeavors much at all this year. I was distracted by all the drama and honestly, pretty drained from helping someone that had no problem taking from me. I learned a lot from this situation though. The lessons are not worth repeating moving forward.
