Candle in the Window
My entry to #bc_tenyearsofbc photo contest on @brickcentral. Thanks so much for running this contest! My brother had some lights so I had fun using one in the candle. :D
Just for a brief moment in Pixar's Up there's a scene where all the balloons shed colorful light into a girl's bedroom. My little sister got inspired to build it, and I tried to get a nice picture with the light streaming in behind. :D
It was fun to collab with you little sis!
This was inspired by this (pin.it/2qDsvck) adorable picture and the Nerdvember contest over on flickr. :)
I had a lot of fun and really wanted to capture the atmosphere of the original but was also in a time crunch (thus the trees in the back that aren't tall enough). :D
I guess this is like the first time I tried using a light, which I admittedly just slapped on there, but that leaves me a lot of room for improvement. XD
I'd love to hear any comments or criticisms!
A fun build inspired by Toy Story since my sister got the minifigures. :D
Hey!
I'm Tayaya! :D New to Tumblr and new to toy photography. I've loved LEGO since a little kid, and have many fond memories of playing with my siblings - and some not so fond ones of arguing... XD haha. Actually I don't remember any too vividly, but if you ask my mother... better just not ask her. XD
I've been really inspired by Brickcentral and the many talented LEGO photographers in that group, and I love how kind and helpful they all are and am looking forward to learning. I hope my pictures look as good as theirs someday! :D
And just right now I have very few minifigures, and hardly a decent girl's face or hair or torso so... XD
