Leo notices the way Whisp is sitting

“you can get closer if you want, I don’t bite”

*He mumbles before shuffling closer, before he knows it he's leaning on Leo*

”there we go..”

Leo slings a arm over Whisps shoulder as he gets the movie set up

*Whisp watches the movie being set up and then the film itself wincing only when he felt a hand initially on his shoulder. He doesn't realise but he'd grabbed Leo's shirt, rubbing a bit of the fabric between his thumb and finger.*

”you’re safe with me hun…”

*Whisp hums gluing his eyes to the screen*

I like the part with all of the lanterns in it... When they're in the boat- N she's free, right?

“Yeah, I like that part too”

Kinda like me. She was trapped and me too.. But now she's free and so am I-

*He whispers not being loud enough to drown the movie out*

“when the movies over I’d like to have a talk with you..nothing bad okay..? We don’t have to if you don’t want to…”

Oh okay- Nothing bad? Is it me..?

*He asks needing to clarify before he can put his concentration back to the movie instead of worrying*

“I..talked to Chester…and tased him…I just want to make sure where…where you’re wings were isn’t infected…just to make sure it’s not going to do damage..okay..? You can always say no”

Oh you did..? Okay- I uhm. I think they're okay but you can check- They- I keep em covered so they are clean

”I have proper stuff in my bag…let’s talk about it after the movie, okay hun?”

Leo spoke softly

Yeah. Sure.

*He said quickly and looked back at the screen, fiddling with his blanket. The movie ended way too quickly*

Leo gently rubbed circles where his hand rested on Whisp, trying to be comforting

The movie is finished. It was good

*He mumbles sitting up properly. He's half eaten his chocolate bar*

Leo had fallen asleep, waking back up at Whisps words

“mhn…oh- my bad- uh- want to wait for me to check out back? Or want to do it now-? Or do you just want me to not-“

You can do it whenever i don't mind- As long as you don't touch it

*He looks at Leo*

I woke you up? Sorry..

“Okay…I won’t touch it yet”

“don’t be sorry for waking me, my bad for falling asleep”

Leo chuckled

*Whisp turns around and drops the blanket that was made to look how his wings should have. And then it's easy to see where they've been hacked off underneath his thin vest*

“Can I lift your clothes up..? So I can see it better? I promise I won’t touch or hurt you”

Yeah sure I can- ill lift it up at the back n try hold it.. So it doesn't fall

*He pulls the back of the vest up and the wound hasn't healed over yet even if it's been a few weeks. It's red and inflamed but that's about it for now*

“mm…looks irritated but not quite to bad yet…needs to be cleaned properly…”

It got cleaned in the shower though. Was that not properly?

*He questions keeping the vest up until he's told to put it down again. Just incase he needed to keep looking*

“Eh…disinfectant wipes would probably be better..”

Oh– I think I have some for my kitchen..

”I have some in my bag, if you’d let me, I’d be gentle”

*He mumbles getting ready for a sting or something*

Leo grabbed a wipe from his bag and opened it

“I’m going to wipe the right side first”

*Whisp nods letting Leo clean everything up and shockingly felt nothing at all. He'd actually dozed off which really would make tidying everything up easier*

Leo gently cleaned both sides, putting a little ointment to help the healing process go faster before bandaging over everything

*Once everything was cleared up whisp rolled over onto his side next to Leo again but laying down. He for once actually fell asleep up in his bed*

“rest little one..you’re safe now..”

Leo couldn’t bring himself to get up, instead dozing off alongside Whisp

*A ghoulette unlocks the door and walks in with a bag*

*She notices he's asleep and Leo, wondering who on earth it is*

-muffins... Blueberry.

Once Leo realized someone else was in the room he darted up, grabbing his taser from his bag, expecting the worse (aka Chester)

*She drops the tub lifting her hands up to show that she's no harm*

I'm his mother.. Who are you? I just.. Brought him some of his favourite muffins. Incase he was wanting some.

Leo set the taser down slowly

“satanas I’m so sorry…I’m Leo, the ministry ghoul handler- I- I was watching a movie with Whisp and we both fell asleep-“

I think I'll tidy a little in here. Then get going, pick up Cody.

Yeah. Sweet kid- In the middle of getting all the documents we need to go through with adopting him.

Yeah that's the issue I was talking about. He's been... taking Cody from the cabin in the mornings. But since we legally aren't his parents yet and Chester is? There's nothing to be done if he isn't harming Cody.

I don't think Chester knows how to interact with Cody though.

Cody is around 4. I had to learn sign language and make cards to communicate with him. We think- we think that Chester spoke or interacted with him so little he just hadn't learnt or picked up how to speak yet. He spoke for the first time a few months ago actually.

“Aww..I’d love to meet him..”

Leo was unconsciously gently rubbing Whisps back in a soothing motion

I'm sure we can arrange that.. He's shy so it might take a little bit for him to come and say hi but that's alright

*She watches Leo and how he's acting with Whisp*

He was so scared, an accidental summon who had no one where to go and no help..he was sent back before I recovered, I decided I’d make sure nothing like that ever happened again…”

He spoke somewhat quietly as to not wake Whisp up

So.. You want to help ghouls..? You must have a good heart for that. Many would just let us get on with it or send back. Hell I almost was, and don't tell any of the kits that. I'm only still here because Apostle had gotten me a job with Vida and a room to stay. I was an unapproved summon so yeah.

I come from quite a large pack... Not to mention I was here previously. Chose to go back to the pits soon after I was summoned the first time.

You seem to be good with ghouls.. From what I've seen. And how comfortable Whisp is. There's only been a few he'd fall asleep around.

I mean you must be. For whisp to be this comfortable? You must be doing something right. The few he'd actually let his guard down around is me, Vida, Ridley, Secondo and now you.

“I try my best…he’s such a sweetheart…I’d protect him with my life, though I think I’d give my life for almost any ghoul..”

I'd give mine if it meant he'd be safe and happy. He is so sweet, didn't deserve any of what happened. I've done everything I could since the moment I learnt what happened.

*Estelle pauses to gather her emotions a little*

Vida made him that blanket he's got on.. To look like his wings and I don't think I've seen him without it in a couple months. They're damaged you see and he isn't very comfortable with how they look- Even if I tell him they're just a part of who he is now..

Whisp: "Leo. Can I also have new glow in the dark stars for my walls? It gets too dark in here."

*Once everything was cleared up whisp rolled over onto his side next to Leo again but laying down. He for once actually fell asleep up in his bed*

Yeah sure I can- ill lift it up at the back n try hold it.. So it doesn't fall

*He pulls the back of the vest up and the wound hasn't healed over yet even if it's been a few weeks. It's red and inflamed but that's about it for now*

*He mumbles sitting up properly. He's half eaten his chocolate bar*

Leo had fallen asleep, waking back up at Whisps words

“mhn…oh- my bad- uh- want to wait for me to check out back? Or want to do it now-? Or do you just want me to not-“

*He pulls the back of the vest up and the wound hasn't healed over yet even if it's been a few weeks. It's red and inflamed but that's about it for now*
