As an American, I’m slightly offended. I just do. Don’t call me sir, it makes me feel old.
Oh, I am sorry. But you keep avoiding it! Please tell me. I will stop calling you sir if you tell me!
HE HUMMED BEFORE scrunching his nose up a bit. ❝ you haven’t been high with the right people, then. ❞, he decided. he cocked his head to the side and took another drag from the cigarette. ❝ do you drink, then? ❞, he questioned as he eyed the small female.
A SHRUG HUNG on her shoulders, pursing her lips at his statement. “i assume that is so. i do not “get high” too often however.” she mumbled, nodding at his question. “i drink wine very often, and other beverages on some occasions. wine is very much better than others.”
Can we just call it a day? I think that’s enough English my brain can take for a day.
I think we can! I just do not like English as a whole, you should not question if I should stop speaking it as well.
❛ — aww, well I’d just keep hope. not let them get to you! some people can be cruel. ❜
“i will keep hope! i wish people had more decency to not be rude from the beginning however.”
gtgryder:
Nah, Americans are just shitty at being funny. I have my ways.
Understandable, Americans are shitty at most things in general. How sir? How?
A CHUCKLE FELL from his lips as he let the smoke leave from behind his lips. ❝ you’re giving me shit for smoking a cigarette and you like cigars? ❞, he questioned. and then, a smirk moved onto his lips. ❝ foreign girls don’t make sense. ❞, he decided before taking another drag. ❝ do you smoke anything else, italy? ❞
ESTELLE’S HANDS WENT to brush through her hair subconsciously, eyeing the smoke he seemed to be blowing out. “only on occasion however, like parties and such. not for recreational usage.” she pointed out, shrugging her shoulders at his comment. “i have smoked marijuana at parties, it is not my taste. the entire experience of being high is quite peculiar to me.”
❛ — well, lots of people are like that I think. not everybody is completely welcoming or open to change. someone told me something like that, once. ❜
“wow, that is very much inspirational, thank you! i have tried to tell people these things but they do not listen.”
You can dial it back just a ton on the proofreading. It just a lot to process all at once.
Ah, okay. I will slow it down for you, I have got it. Anything else?
Eh, it’s just American humor I guess. You’ll get used to it. Huh? ‘m not leaving you hanging.
I do not like American humor, though it may be the language barrier. Yes, how did you learn so much about the children?
Because people, Americans in this sense, pull shit like that. Let’s just say I do.
Oh, that is very rude of Americans. They need to get better jokes. No, you’ve gained my interest now! You cannot “leave me hanging” as you say.
❝ THEN DON’T GET onto me because my opinion doesn’t match yours. ❞, he drawled with a bit of a shrug. he wasn’t too bothered by anything and that included whatever this conversation had become. ❝ we’re all going to die, let me do it how i want. ❞, his voice low. ❝ they’re nice. you’d know if you tried them. ❞, he pointed out.
"I AM SORRY that i was “onto” you.” she stated firmly, moving to push her hands into her pockets, looking up from her feet at her. “yes, we all will die, but it must be earlier when smoking cigarettes.” she sighed softly at his words, shaking her head. “i have tried them once. it was not enjoyable, however, cigars are quite nice from time to time.”
gtgryder:
I’m only rude because it seemed like it was a prank. I’m sorry if I offended you, and I never said you are a child. I know how children work.
Why would it seem like it is a prank? It was only a slight offense, so it is okay. But why would you understand how children work?
“oh, about the help taking place in the sixties? i thought it was the fifties and not the sixties. my bad.”
“yes, it is the sixties, i did a project when i was younger! but it is okay, i will accept your apologies sir.”
Positive, I think. It’s obvious I’m American because I was born in America and have lived here all my life. And what do I associate those who do not speak english very well with? You lost me there. Eh, well, it seemed like a prank at first.
You seemed to think of me as a child or unintelligent, and you were quite rude to me because of my grammar choices. I am not a prank, my language is not a prank, and you are a mean man.
“revise on what exactly?” he looked at her, his dark brown eyes full of curious ization.
“um, your statement sir!” she mumbled, looking towards the floor now, shoving her hands in her pockets haphazardly.
HIS EYEBROW RAISED up at the female’s words. ❝ it’s an opinion. ❞, he pointed out matter-of -a-factly. ❝ i know you may not understand the concept of freedom of speech yet, but i can have my own opinion and say it. ❞, he drawled before placing the cigarette between his petals and lighting the end of it.
THOUGH SHE TYPICALLY found herself dealing with those who spoke as if she was a child, this boy, or man, was quite intolerant of her, stating her freedoms and what not. “sir, no mean to be rude, but i am aware of the freedoms in this country. i have studied them for lots of time.” she nodded slowly, eyeing his cigarette cautiously. “it is not healthy to be smoking those, do you know that?”
Italian..figures as much. American, yeah, you got that right.
Figures as much in a negative or positive connotation? I cannot tell. Though it is quite obvious that you are American by the manner in which you associate those who do not speak english very well. Most American born citizens are rude in that stature.
