WHY THIS IS A GENERATION OF SEXUALLY INEPT PEOPLE
Saying that social media (dating apps specifically) represent the final nail on the coffin on any possible human sexual normalcy is an understatement, people today don`t even talk to others in public anymore...let alone hook up in the traditional way, people apply to sex like is a job interview...People don` t have personalities anymore ...they have "PROFILES" instead: Life has become a beauty pageant, a miserable game of expectations (& deceptions) of finding a "picture perfect" sex partner who fits impossible standards of attractiveness or coolness as part of this almost comical tragedy.
Ironically physical beauty online is so common (manufactured or not) that people refuse to set for any less out of it, of course they are miserable...How could they not be? The second they remove their eyes of their phones or tablets real people seem ugly, plane and unattractive by comparison...
Oh but is the contradictory fascism of PC culture that murdered IRL human sexual interactions aswell...We don`t get to talk, disagree, ask questions, make mistakes or argue about anything the millenial societal agenda dictates...see..Now not only we don`t get to talk... by extension we don`t get to court, touch, know or fuck each others either!
And the final hypocrisy of the whole thing: The same rabid millennial SJW crowd who (with pitchforks and torches in hand) burned Kevin Spacey`s career into ashes for hooking up with teenagers are the exactly the same Hollywood crowd who fangirled Armie Hammer to bits in "Call me by Your Name" for seducing a not less beautiful teen (played Timothée Chalamet) except of course, - and sadly for Spacey- he doesn't have Hammer`s striking perfect good looks to be commoditized and romanticized...Remember kids: physical beauty as the maximum commodity makes everything right... Physical beauty fix EVERYTHING!
There`s also the universally known fact that Americans - and by extension the rest of the western world- always had a weird relationship with sexuality in general (their bodies in particular), a culture that have zero problem showing guts & gore on the news but god forbid a nipple shows up by accident... Millenials have this weird relationship with the politics of their bodies - and the real human interactions related to them- they make great maneuvers in daily life to avoid touching other people even by accident, they don`t make eye contact, hell they don`t even hug or kiss their own relatives or friends...in 99% cases they don`t even give you a handshake when they introduce themselves, mind you...the same crowd who complains about isolation, despersonalization, and the fall of sensibility of this century.
Here a little anecdote that happened to me while travelling few many years ago:
I was sitting with this big group of tourists at certain known hotel`s lobby, assorted people from all around the globe, all normal peculiar friendly folk minding their own business waiting for transportation to visit a famous local attraction, all was nice and dandy until this particular millenial american tourist (a young woman no less) was absolutely scandalized by another tourist...a young european mother (no much older than herself) breastfeeding her baby -quite discretely & covered i must add- sitting across the room, her anger and disgust was such that she even asked to speak to the hotel manager while the rest of the group seemed quite non chalant about such natural thing...
It was such a powerful oxymoron of a scene watching this angry so called SJW girl policing another young woman`s breasts, pointing fingers & yelling all kind of names for feeding her baby in public "in the name of normality " with the-no-less ironic soundtrack of two grown men grunting & punching each other on an american wrestling match championship on the lobby`s tv nearby no less.
Then it finally strikes me: this is a generation of living walking dichotomies...that girl served as an example of the problem...an specimen of a generation of people who craves human touch, love and connection but it feels unavoidably disgustet by it IRL. Make some sense of that if you will, i can`t.
And you know what? Maybe is better that way.
