I'm curious, why did you decide to make Welcome Home horror? You've said that it's going to lean more towards psychological horror. It seems so unlike the stuff that you post, so I'm curious why you went that direction :)

Hello! I'm so happy you could visit this little home!

Welcome Home is a horror story because I wanted to use it as a vessel to explore the idea of being alive through both the mind and the body; my internal and external reality. Personally speaking, sentience is horror to me- my birth, my gamble, the hand dealt, my expectations, my death- among other things! I wanted to explore the feelings that come from these experiences, from the lived experience- The more I wrote and illustrated when I began writing for Welcome Home, the more inline it became with horror. So this house breathes, just like this body breathes- It's wallpaper peels, my teeth fall out- It groans like I do and it harbors mold too- It's hard to explain, but I hope this makes sense.

But it's a funny observation to make! I suppose this is a facet of me we are seeing, we all must have one. I want to try to stay optimistic online. It's like they say, keep writing positively, find joy in these small moments, take a walk away from this place and it can go a long way for you! I make necklaces with a drill and beads! We all have our joys!

Hello Clown! I technically have two questions because I forgot to ask the first one when the ask box was open earlier!

1. Do you have any tips on drawing the puppets? I’ve been trying to figure out how to draw them but I’ve been struggling! :o[

2. I’m sorry if this one is an odd question, but would Julie or Frank ever like dressing in something outside of typical “gender norms” (for lack of a better term)? I’m just curious because Julie is genderfluid and Frank is nonbinary, so I wasn’t sure!

For the question regarding how to draw puppets, I made a little idea picture for you! Lots of the advice on here is regarding different features of the face and some on the body. Id say these are the biggest details you can add to a characters to make it look more puppety! Lots of these “rules” are more-so suggestions, you can do anything with puppets! Get creative!
