Otto-triin ajas judinad peale, kunagi käis Tartus mingil üritusel ja võttis mul jalast kinni. Ma olin kisendanud nagu ei tea mis oleks olnud. 😂😅
the real story behind the name of the Oleviste church in Tallinn: Named after the Norwegian king Olaf II (Saint Olaf) the legend: No, no, no, you see, the city wanted a really tall church to attract trade ships and a man came and said he could build a super tall church for free if the citizens learned his name before the completion (otherwise they'd have to pay a pretty high price), so they hired a spy and the spy discovered the builder's name was Olev, so when he was fixing the cross on the spire, the citizens called out his name, and he fell to the ground, and died, and turned to stone, and a toad and a snake came out of his mouth. So now we have this super tall church built by some supernatural entity. Isn't it cool.

In 1941, the Soviets deported 10 000 Estonians to Siberia, most of them women and children. Train stations were collection points, where the journey to Siberia began.
On 14th June 1941, 10 000 Estonians, 16 500 Latvians and 18 500 Lithuanians were deported to Siberia in animal wagons by Soviet authorities. More than half of them never returned to their homeland.
