FOXIFIIED.

    Of course she’s seen the animatronics move     before but only in set routes (  not that she     even catch a glimpse in recent times ). Stood     rigid- awestruck it’s every child’s dream to     have to their toys come to life && here she is.     “Chica!!!” Words hit her tongue like lightning      && the child remains frozen, peering out the      curtains of pirate’s cove. Rich hazel eyes      unblinking, awaiting some response.

       mechanic footfalls are interrupted with abrupt pause upon the detection of another: more importantly, calling to her. cogs whir into action, willing heavy head adorned with yellow plumage to turn, regarding the source with beady, blue eyes. she’s spotted immediately. shiny, new beak chitters in greeting: a tremble, before words stutter out. “ h͞-̷͜h̡͜-̧hello !! i’m chica !! wḩ̴-̧who are y——̴̵you ?? “

          it’s triumph enough just to see that tense before the punchline. means she followed through with the delivery & stuck that landing. & it’s always good to know her particular brand of humor is, at least, somewhat appreciated.  “ you’ve actually met people who don’t like BURGERS? – do me a solid & never introduce me. i don’t need that kind of NEGATIVITY in my life.“
