To have a talent.. it is a sin worse than murder.
Talent. It was something dangerous. The talents they had, a danger to the world. Everyone who went by their talent disgusted him, to the point where he could get physically ill. His stomach twisted and contorted in ways he did not understand. As his role however, he could not show weakness. Weakness meant death. Death meant cheating. Sometimes the bile that threatened to coem up his throat told him that he was not as strong as he wanted the world to think he was.
As a mastermind, he needed to be sturdy, to let everyone know that he was still there. That he would not be going anywhere anytime soon. A year ago he had gone by a different name and a different personality to go with that. That side made him want to gag, sometimes even successfully doing so in vomiting.
In a world where he was living, where the talentless were scorned, he promised himself that he would not succumb to that need to be useful again. Eventually he would find his dream. Achieve it through hard work. That was the life he was given, and he would fully utilize it to the point where he could finally be happy with the talentless body he presided in.
He regretted a lot of things, mostly that which he had even agreed to go under the knife, the knife of a Super High School Level at that. He was changed, without his permission. Yes, he agreed to be altered, but he didn't think in doing so he would lose himself. For a few years he was not in control of his body, another entity full of talent utilized his body. However, due to some unfortunate events, he was now fully in control of his very own body again. The talent inside him locked away in his very mind, in a part where even he forgot about it.
It was best to forget about an incredibly good asset to their side. He didn't need him. They wanted him, and he knew that was the very reason why he was still alive. Because he nursed him inside of himself.
When he had woken up from the accident, the first thing he did was empty the contents of his stomach. He felt so.. repulsed. That was when he knew something needed to be changed. He could take the mental abuse, that was all they did to him, that they gave him in attempts to reawaken the talent. But to no avail. The talent still remained hidden inside of him.
The only part they cared, would forever be gone.
