I have decided to start doing oshinsims' Five Families Legacy Challenge and thought maybe posting for me as a diary could help me get as far as possible. I don't think I've ever done a challenge past gen 3 but I'll try because this seems really fun! Oshin introduces the challenge here. So now, here's our founder, Piper Riggs. She just moved to Brindleton Bay to start her new job as a substitute teacher at the local elementary school. She's competitive, a perfectionnist and family oriented with a soulmate aspiration. I don't know how consistent I'll be but let's try to see how things will go for Piper in this new life! Go here to follow everything in order.

Saturday, Brindleton Bay Another Sunday, another Swimming Club reunion! Charlotte is joining for the first time at Piper's insistence. She's not sure she likes it but at least she's getting to meet some new friends, Tessa and Athena. When they came back home, they celebrated Piper's birthday who aged up to an adult!

Next few days, Brindleton Bay Charlotte got a little doll for her birthday that she adores. She named her Annabelle. She spends her time playing with her and tells her mom all about it. On Easter, the family reunited for a meal (Sian was also present just out of camera shot). Later that day Annabelle manifested herself for the first time!

The days followed their course. Charlotte learned a few skills, went on her first outings to the park with her parents and then finally came her birthday! She aged up with the slob trait, as the challenge required!

In the next few days, Charlotte earned a lot of milestones! Her birthday approached soon and Piper was pretty proud of the cake she did for her. She blew her candles with her father's help and grew up with the angelic and top notch toddler traits!

Friday, Brindleton Bay Little Charlotte aged up with the Calm trait! She spent a little bit of time with her sister and then I had to take an emergency trip to CAS because this game can't handle custom skintones! Please meet Charlotte who will be our heir for gen 2!

Thursday, Brindleton Bay After going back home, Piper dressed Charlotte in one of the onesies she knitted. Her mom is staying a few days to help them with the baby. Felix's children came over to meet their new sister and Piper tried to have a conversation with them to smooth things over. It was easier with Noah since she knew him better (he was part of the swim club when he was a kid). Sian was still very much resentful.

Thursday, Brindleton Bay Piper got into labour at 3 in the morning on New Year's Eve. They went straight to the hospital. She got an epidural then did breathing exercices, yoga ball and took a walk before she was ready to give birth to a little Charlotte!

The pregnancy was going well, the nursery just about ready. They couldn't wait to meet their daughter. Piper spent her time knitting little onesies for her.

Monday & Tuesday, Brindleton Bay On Monday night, Felix's son Noah came to visit his father for the 1st time. It seemed like he was ready to start to forgive, to an extent. Felix told him about the pregnancy and he seemed to take it well. On Tuesday, they went to the first ultrasound appointment. They learned they were expecting a healthy baby girl! A little blood test and they were gone.

Monday, Brindleton Bay Piper woke up with a baby bump. She was thrilled by the discovery and immediately went to tell Felix who also seemed thrilled by the news!

Friday, Brindleton Bay On Christmas day, Felix went to spend the day with his children. They weren't ready yet to be near Piper. They chose not to tell them yet they secretly eloped. While Felix was gone, Piper spent time opening presents with her mom and Mariela. Once back, Felix tried to bond with his mother in law.

Thursday, Brindleton Bay It's Christmas Eve still and a new character makes an appearance. It's Annabeth, Piper's mother, who lives all the way in Willow Creek. She came to visit for Christmas and met her new in law. Father Winter dropped by to give some gifts.

Thursday, Brindleton Bay On Christmas Eve's morning, Felix dropped by and asked Piper to marry him, which she gladly accepted. And since it seems I can't leave my Sims unattended for two seconds, they went and autonomously eloped. I let it happen. 😭 For the challenge's little backyard wedding, I guess we'll renew the vows! Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Sunday, Brindleton Bay It was the first day of Winter with the first snow falling on Brindleton Bay. Felix showed up and they decorated the Christmas tree together and then Piper went grocery shopping ahead of Christmas.

Thursday & Friday, Brindleton Bay Piper and Felix discussed short term plans. He wanted to spend Thanksgiving with his kids that weren't taking the separation too well. So Piper spent it with Ellowyn and her other friend Mariela

Thursday, Brindleton Bay Piper and Ellowyn had a chat where she came clean to her and asked for advice. She said things were a bit tense when she tried to suggest he leaves. Ellowyn said she likes Gabriela and doesn't think what's happening is fair to her. She added that if Felix doesn't leave, they should just end it. If they don't, he should be upfront so Gabriela can be free. Staying for the children isn't a solution if that's the only thing making him stay. Piper thanked for her advice and they became best friends after Ellowyn made her promise not to let this situation last for Gabriela and the kids' sake. She later talked to Felix about it and convinced him to get a divorce, which was a relief for her but saddened him for his children.
