“Acting’s great, if you can make people laugh or you can teach somebody a story, I love doing that, I really do…”
— S.M
Mitchell is best known for his role as Cody Lambert in the 90’s sitcom series ‘Step By Step’ but he also took on the role of the character David Sloan for three of the ‘Kickboxer’ movies from the franchise and of James Beaumont on the hit soap opera ‘Dallas’ amongst a few other films. Preceding his acting career, he had a short modeling career mainly modeling for Bruce Weber campaigns. He was also a martial artist; he has a black belt in taekwondo and was also an amateur kickboxing champion. The first movie he ever acted in was ‘Spike of Bensonhurst’ in 1988. <3

Some of Janet Delaney’s splendid photography of NYC in the 1980’s 📸
From Blind Magazine:
“Through Delaney’s lens, we get a feeling of small-town life set amid a soaring backdrop in the new book, Red Eye to New York (MACK). Although the architecture is grand, Delaney finds the human moments that we all share: breakfast in a sunny restaurant; kids gathered after school; a moment of respite at the butcher shop; a summer afternoon grilling in the park. Using a Rolleiflex camera, Delaney documented the intimacy of New York while also preserving its grandeur at a time when the city was still struggling to survive.”
