A certain owl was settled down onto the counter of the shop, right at the back, in front of him laid Anton’s laptop, which was currently being used to surf Twitter and Facebook mainly, those there was a Youtube and Tumblr tab left unattended.
Owlie was currently making a status on Facebook when he had been called out, head popping from behind the screen monitor to look at the customer that had just called out for him, odd,
he never met this guy.

The bird soon went back behind the laptop, quickly switching to Twitter to make a quick status.
‘Major flame loser just entered the store, knows my name, this is going to suck balls, RIP’
Owlie popped back from his screen, looking rather unimpressed for an owl. He remained silent for a few moments.
❝What’s up flame lose- dude, the so called ‘master’ finally passed out an hour ago so you’re stuck with me big guy. How may I assist ya?❞

“Oh, I know, asking was just a formality,” the demon said airily, with a wave of his hand. “I’m fine with being ‘stuck’ with you, as you put it. In fact, I knew before I came that I would be. Well, for a while, anyway. Who knows what's going to happen later? I do, of course." He laughed as if that were the funniest thing in the universe.
Tapping a perfectly manicured claw against the counter, he gave Owlie a look as if he were staring into his soul - which he may well have been. Technically, he was accessing his race's collective subconscious to find all available information on the owl. This bird sure had a mouth on him, and Eternitarion appreciated that. It would make this whole experience more worth his time. He did enjoy a good verbal sparring match.
"My name's Eternitarion. I suppose you got the flame thing from my hair?" He ran a hand through it, and each strand fell back into the exact position it had been before. He did like his hair exactly as it was. Always.
"Ah, assisting me, yes, I did come here for that, I suppose... I'm actually here on business. Well... Perhaps ‘business’ is a little misleading. I don’t make any money, I have no use for it. My profits are... The satisfaction of a job well done, let’s say.”

The man in the duster and hat held out his hand.
“A like-minded individual! Dear sir, may you tell me your name?”
The demon looked at the hand for a moment, trying to recall exactly which custom this was and how to respond, before grasping it in his own clawed grip and shaking it a little too firmly.
"Eternitarion. I suppose we're as like-minded as our vast species gap allows."
Eight have entered the waters
The shark’s frown deepened, and his thick brow quirked up steadily. His eyes moved up and down, studying the strange creature before him. What was this guy planning? While Bruce made it clear to not judge someone on a first impression- as many often did so to him- something didn’t settle quite well with this character.
“Well, if it’s so important, I should like to know. This is my territory, after all. Making it my business. I’m sure ye’d understand,” the great white said, not taking his eyes off the stranger.
The demon watched Bruce with amusement. The shark seemed to be sizing him up. He was quite used to this sort of behaviour from mortals, they never quite knew what to make of him. It certainly was interesting seeing the different ways they reacted though.
“Your territory? Is that so?” he chuckled, “How cute. What makes this area yours? Did you make it? Or did you just barter or fight for it? Because that doesn’t really mean it belongs to you, you know, not unless you bartered or fought with the gods themselves. Oh, I’d like to have seen that..."

He was still trembling all over, but at least the sick feeling in the pit of Ollie’s stomach had dissipated, for the most part, even though he was now coughing up bile. He groaned and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand, as he heard some noise - that of a door opening.

Well now, that was quite the reaction. Not what he’d been expecting, sure, but just as entertaining as it was unexpected. Not that anything was truly unexpected; he had all the information in the multiverse at his disposal, if he merely deigned to tap into it. But he often found interactions like these were a lot more fun if he didn’t check up on how they were supposed to run beforehand.
A grin spread across those dark lips and Eternitarion leant forward, until he was almost touching Ollie, locking his strange gaze with the human’s. They were so close that the dim bathroom light was refracting through the gemstones and casting orange onto Ollie’s skin.
“Malcolm Tucker? Ohh, it really is a shame I missed him, he always sounds like such fun... But you’ll do, won’t you? For a laugh? Of course you will, look at yourself.”
The demon snickered and straightened back up to full height. He rested his elbow on his opposite hand and tapped his chin thoughtfully, as if deeply considering the human’s question.
“What the fuck am I... What the fuck am I... Hrmm... It’s difficult to know how to answer that, you know? Your limited human brain can only understand so much... Hum. I’m an immortal cosmic being who exists outside of causality. My colleagues and I are the ones pulling the strings behind the multiverse. We make sure Fate goes the way it’s supposed to. My name is Eternitarion, and I am infinitely smarter, stronger and more important than you or anyone you have ever or will ever know!”
“Does that answer your question?”
Starter for eternitarion
Jumping practically out of his skin, the prince whipped his head around, letting out a yelp. He fell off of the rock he’d been sitting on, thumping softly into the sand. Gasping, he stared in awe and confusion at the strange being who’d frightened him.
He ran a shaky hand through his hair. “Wh-who are you? I’m sorry, I….you surprised me…” He sat up, brushing the dust off of his shirt. “I guess I didn’t hear you coming.”
Oh, what a wonderful reaction! Although, Rishi seemed to be responding more to the surprise than his appearance... Win some, lose some, he supposed.
The grey-skinned creature laughed and squatted down to Rishi’s eye level.
“That was the intention. But don’t sweat it, you’re far from the first prince I’ve caught off-guard.” He smirked a little, orange sapphire eyes and far-too-white fangs making his every expression alien. “I’m called Eternitarion.“

Little Words book shop. So this was the place. It was all well and good having a shop with an entrance tied to dimensional doors across the galaxy, but when it started interfering with universal causality, Eternitarion had to step in. A place like this was surely more suited to his colleague Sancrosaset, but that tosser had found some other job to tie up his time, as usual.
Still, at least the dimensional doors meant that Eternitarion wouldn’t have to materialise in front of anybody. He could just walk in through the door. Much preferable.
The moment he pushed the door open, he was hit with a thousand new yet familiar sensations. Old books, countless human scents, dim electric lighting; Earth dust swirled through the air, owl down littered the carpeted floor; trace amounts of bodily fluid dirt coated the various surfaces of the shop through grubby fingerprints and stains that had been thought cleaned years ago; a couple of creatures that were undetectable to humans were browsing the shelves. All and more was visible to Eternitarion’s strange gemstone eyes in a cursory glance as he walked over to the counter at the back of the store.
He looked at the owl with an unreadable expression for a moment, before smiling, showing off his stark white fangs.
“You must be Owlie. Is your master about?”
