“How incredibly rude of them...” Ethan shook his head. “Don’t worry girl, i’ll leave a big fat tip for you for the amazing work you’ve been doing here. You do know that you’re the main reason I’m coming here, right?” He said, laughing.

“You definitely did. If she ever calls for another update, I’m telling her to talk to you. I can never let you miss this.”

“New York…” answered Anna, even though her accent told a different story. “Russia initially, but then I moved to New York when I was eleven. Crazy is best, I say.”
“New York, huh?” Ethan asked with an amused smile. “I’m from New York too. What brought you to San Francisco? No, wait... What brought you to the States?”

Forgetting that she was in a public place, Mia suddenly shrieked in panic while looking down on her camera.
Ethan ran to the souce of the scream, pushing the people away on his way. Someone might be having a seizure or an attack. “Is everything alright?” She asked the girl who standing there with her camera in her hand.

It had been one of those days, one where she was just desperate to get home, but naturally she spotted someone standing not far from the door to her place as she approached. Faye sighed softly, and then said, trying to sound as cheerful as possible, “Whatever it is, I sure hope you brought alcohol with you.”
“Hey there, sunshine. Once again you look like you’ve lightened up someone’s day.” Ethan laughed. “I didn’t... but I have Chinese.” He said ,shaking the bag in his hand. “What happened to my favorite paramedic?”

I’m so tired I think I may have just left my phone in the refrigerator. Considering I just tried to make a phone call on a carton of orange juice. I need sleep but there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
“What have you been doing to yourself?” Ethan snorted.

“You know what the start of November means? Christmas is here, and you can bet your bottom dollar I’m pulling out the works - lights, tinsel and the sweet, sultry sound of Michael Buble crooning Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Why yes, Michael, I think I will,” Rory grinned, nodding enthusiastically, “You know, you could join me. I haven’t even put up the tree and it’s going to be spectacular… I’m thinking blue and gold.”
“You know what the start of November means? It means the temparature’s gonna drop and I’m gonna have to rely on cheap crappy hospital coffee in order to warm myself up because I won’t even have time to leave the hospital. And it also mean Thanksgiving is upon us and since I won’t be able to go back home again... I’m gonna have to deal with finding a present to send to Georgia.” Ethan shook his head. Unlike Ethan, his mother always wanted to spend all kind of holidays together, as a family.

“That was today? Oh, I am so sorry, I totally forgot!” Hyemi looked away, trying to hide her face behind her hand in embarrassment. “How can I make it up to you?”
“Hey, what’s up with you?” Ethan asked. “It’s okay, girl. I’m gonna let it slide this time.” He laughed.

“I’m not entirely sure if I left the coffee machine on, and while I know the uncertainty’s going to bug me the entire fucking day, I can’t be bothered to go back to my apartment to check.”
“Whatever happens, happens?” Ethan laughed. “Isn’t it better to go check rather then living with that uncertainty? I don’t mind coming with you.”

“It’s not too bad though.. least i’ve got it now.” She nodded her head. “Oh, i’m a cleaner.”
“You have... in your lovely costume.” Ethan smiled. “Oh yeah? How is it going for you?”

“Yeah, but if someone can live with themselves after publicly asking a stupid question, I feel it is my duty to mankind to Google their question and embarrass them just as publicly with the answer.”
“Where were you when the receptionist asked me if my date of birth has changed?” Ethan let out a laugh.

“You think so? You’re probably right, but you never know – don’t need everyone thinking I’m crazy when I only just moved here. Even if I am a little crazy,” Anna answered.
“You just moved here, huh? Where are you from?” He asked. “Well, a little crazy would never hurt.”

“I, uhhm, was at a bonfire. Went to take a picture of my friends and accidentally dropped my phone in the fire. You’re sure you can’t help?”
“Well, that’s certainly not what I was expecting.” Ethan laughed. “It’s a very bad way to die, poor thing.” Ethan shrugged. “I don’t think there’s a way to save it – it probably flew to heaven until you put out the fire. What was your phone?”

“It’s Halloween. It’s law. You have to.” Anna flashed a grin, and then took his hand when he offered it. “Anna, nice to meet you,” she laughed. “Can’t exactly go introducing myself as a cat, can I?”
“I can’t object. Happy Halloween!” Ethan laughed and downed the shot. “Nice to meet you too.” He nodded, placing a kiss on top of the other’s hand. “I think anything would fly as a reply on Halloween.”

“Something like that, yeah.”
“Well, that’s unfortunate. Enjoy it when you can, then.” Ethan flashed a smile. “What do you do?”

“You know there’s no possible way I have any better ideas,” laughed Nathan with a light shake of his head. “I’m in your hands for the afternoon.” He lifted his brows for a moment, then nodded. “So long as it’s not that part, I would be a little worried, you know.”
“Alright, then. I’ve been wanting to see his works actually. It’ll be good to have a photographer with me.” Ethan smirked. “In my hands for the afternoon? Does this mean I can do whatever I want? I can’t promise anything, Nathan. Keep talking like that and there’s no guarantee I’m keeping my hands to myself.” He let out a laugh. “Please, no, I wouldn’t do that. A worried frown wouldn’t exactly be the best look on you... or maybe I’m lying. Anything would look good on you.”

“I don’t suppose you know how to fix phones? I may have dropped mine somewhere a phone should never be dropped.”
“I fix other things, brains for instance. But I have no idea what to do with this.” Ethan laughed. “Uh huh... And how did that happen?”
