((Ok I’m home and gonna do some stuff but have a starter call for some time this evening.))

Zhu Yuan can be found at the Waterfall Soup location in Lumina Square, a wistful sigh escaping her every now and then. Yes, she was made to go home instead of doing overtime to finish her tasks. She’s bored.

Zhu Yuan had long-since gotten past the stage where she got exasperated by things, especially small scuffles like this. The mumbling just brought a rise of her eyebrows, and she folded her arms.

"Every citizen is expected to conduct themselves with civility, and that includes in the face of ones who don't. If everyone retaliated, New Eridu would be in constant chaos." Even more than it usually was, anyway.

"I jus' think that a man shouldn't kick a lady's tail!" Not that arguing with a cop was a good idea. He might end up getting in worse trouble than the time they'd been found drunk out of their mind on their couch. Though, that was more a scolding to take care of their health than a ticket or something like that.

Still, it hardly felt fair when humans could get so caught up in what they were doing. Not only that, but the man kept calling them a Thiren! And they were exasperating themselves over try desperately not to correct the man. Ignorant people weren't going to listen anyway.

”Was it really worth punching him?” Zhu Yuan kept her arms folded. “Regardless, a single punch isn’t worth bringing someone in. You just happened to get unlucky that I was passing by.” Mostly she’d broken things up.

Finally, a sigh. “He could’ve at least gotten it right. You’d think people would know the difference between a Thiren and a Draconid…”

"Good morning, manager." As usual, Zhu Yuan was keeping an eye on her surroundings, but she did have her attention directly on Belle as well. Woe be to someone who tried to sneak up on them.

"Are you heading to get coffee? I've already had a cup, but the line at the cafe is short so it's prime time to go."

"Honestly I think s'jus' a bit of an overreaction on their part..." Eros mumbled, toying with the part of their sleeves that covered their hands. Gaze set on the sidewalk rather than the woman they were talking to. Really it couldn't be their fault someone had gone and tripped over their tail! Or...that Eros had subsequently gone and punched them for kicking it afterwards.
