Hello fellow writers and readers!
I’m writing a book about vampires, and it’s not the stereotypically romance-y kind where vampires have pale skin, red eyes and black hair. It has queer characters, some with Bantu knots and dreads, and different types of vampires have different abilities and weaknesses. The vampire characters are also (bodily) college-age. No weird minor stuff, dw. My book also explores the concept of mutants and experimented creatures (think of the mutant part as Resident Evil-adjacent).
Having said that, I have questions. What would you, as readers, look for if you were to read about vampires? Even better if you already do. What do you read about supernatural creatures that you like? What things would you not want to see? Anything helps!
