graphic novel progress update. in what I can only assume was a kind of delirious hubris I also gave a main character in this LONG scene a dress with embroidered hems and hundreds of tiny dots on the fabric to emulate ones from the period. And unfortunately it looks great and really character relevant so I won't be changing it

near where I live, there’s a stretch of grass that’s always being stepped on and flowers mown down by the council - but the dandelions still thrive, and the buttercup comes back bright and resilient in the borders that can’t be reached or tamed.

However much money and effort goes into trying to erase trans people from public life, gender variation is a part of nature: you can’t get rid of us; we’ve always been here and always will be
