This is a poem about running out of cigarettes and not having enough money to buy more.

The smoke fills my lungs, this is the final cigarette at last.

A temporary nostalgia, I feel, looking at the stars.

The night is long and sorrowful, just waiting for it to pass.

One last inhale of smoke and it already reached the stub.

Oh, why must in this poverty still make us pay so much?

I hate this, but all good things are never meant to last.

Till next week I must wait again, the check awaits for me.

Until then, my nerves will snap at them, oh well, they can't blame me.

This is the pain of being an addict when money is tight, someone please spare me.
