Can we just take a moment to appreciate and stop belittling Krillin and his accomplishments? I mean the little dude overcame all kinds of adversity and defied the odds to become the pinnacle of human strength and achievement. He learned multiple techniques on his own, without the aid of a teacher. He sacrificed his life, his health, his comfort for the sake of his friends and the good of the planet. I think people overlook that a lot.

Y’all can bag on him as weak all you like, but lemme just remind you when they first detected Yamcha, the Androids thought he was so strong that he HAD to be Goku. Or as strong as they’d have calculated Goku to be post-Saiyans.

For the record: This shines some light as to how strong the humans were at this point. Lotta folks point to the old Power Level charts that stopped tracking them with Krillin at 17k implying they peaked and yet Gero knew Goku’s power vs Vegeta, accounted for it and then some. He was expecting a Goku far above what he’d been vs Vegeta and… actually thought Yamcha had to be him. And Yamcha had, at this point, peaked and sorta started falling off, hitting diminishing returns. Meaning the others still had to have been well above that. Sometimes you need more than just charts to figure out how strong someone is. Jussayin’.
