I will admit it’s been very vindicating seeing people criticise legundo for defending how pyro was threatening to stalk and harass his own fans, because I have disliked legundo ever since that one time he quote-retweeted a 15yo to call them an abuser (for the crime of saying it’s fine to write stuff that breaks ccs’ rules as long as the ccs don’t see it) and then, upon being informed that said teenager was receiving harassment and death threats as a result, doubled down by saying that hopefully this would serve as “an important life lesson.”

this is (part of) what I mean when I say the whole “boundaries” shit is a consent issue. “if you don’t want me to hurt you, don’t do this thing I don’t approve of” is not an acceptable term to set in an interpersonal relationship, much less one where you as the creator hold all* of the power and the fans have little to none. don’t wear that short skirt or that low-cut top, and so on. it’s victim-blaming. there is no world in which it is appropriate for ccs to endorse or support the harassment of children. at least in my opinion

encouraging and rewarding this snitching behavior is MEANT to break down relationships between fans. it’s not an accidental side effect, it’s now very clearly the point. he can’t destroy the foundation of “boundary breaking” behavior with blocking or banning, so by weaponizing the community against itself, he makes fans too afraid of their fellow fans to even discuss their thoughts on “his” characters in private spaces. and as a nice little side effect, his new fandom will care more about him than each other. can pow die already
