“Livet saknade färg innan jag träffade dig”

life doesn’t end at 25. life doesn’t end at 27 or 30 either. life doesn’t end at 35 or 45. life doesn’t end at 65. it doesn’t matter how old you are, when you decide to get your high school degree or start a family. it doesn’t matter when you decide to go run a marathon or go travel the world. life is not made up by numbers, age is, and your age is not all that you are. you got time. life doesn’t end until it ends.
It’s scary to put your heart in someone else’s hands, but it’s scarier to keep it locked away for safety’s sake, never having the chance to fully love.
You are not weak for feeling the weight of everything that you are carrying.
your safety and wellbeing come before others feelings
don't be afraid to upset someone if you are uncomfortable or feeling unsafe
one of the most beneficial concepts that i remind myself of on a regular basis is that uncomfortable≠unsafe. i relate this a lot to how recovery and healing can feel unfamiliar, but that does not automatically make it dangerous.
