♪ ~ Planes. Boats. — both were pretty bad but which one was worse? That was the question of the year. No. It was the question of the Billie’s entire existence. She hated them both ... for different reasons. She hated planes because that is when the feelings of claustrophobia kicked in and her fear of heights acted as a road block too. She hated boats because of motion sickness. Traveling by car or train were truly her preferred method.
But, a sudden must-go-to event had appeared on her schedule, giving her no time to mentally prepare herself for the boat trip. If it was up to her, she would have chosen to stay home but her manager insisted that she went. It wasn’t anything like a high profile party, it was just low key enough for her to not fight it too much. Basically she sucked it up and went. School was out for the summer, so she could afford a trip away from Unova.
She going to go to the Kanto region and excitement should have been the only thing she was feeling but it wasn’t, boredom was her main feeling (aside from the seasickness). Being cooped up in a dull room on a boat was not exciting.
Spark and Shine, Minun and Plusle, were not making the situation any better, they kept begging to go out and explore then S.S Anne. They would hit on the door lightly and then hit her foot and then the door and keep doing that over and over again until she finally gave up.
“Fine.” Billie sighed and got up lazily, putting the hood of her hoodie over her head. “You guys win.” She walked over to the door and opened it, sighing one more time before she left the room. The two pokemon cheered and her entire team followed behind her like an entourage.
Making her way to the deck of the ship was easy as she had been on the S.S Anne before and sort of remembered the layout. She found an empty lounge chair near the pool and took a seat.
“I’m out of the room but don’t expect me to do anything else.” She said to the duo, who were not happy with her decision to sit down. “I’m content here, guys. We’ll explore some more later” She closed her eyes. Her team made themselves comfortable around her, taking up not one but two of the lounge chairs next to her.
There were clearly a lot of empty chairs around, so if someone had a problem they would just have to get over it...
