╰┈➤ "Your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one" (Doctor Emmett L. Brown, Back to the Future: Part III)
╰┈➤ I've been wanting to use this account more to actually blog, post my writting, and interact with people, so it's getting an overhaul and I'm making an introduction to hopefully find some mutuals, maybe.
╰┈➤ My name is Jay, eughlol online and on every platform, and I'm eighteen. My pronouns are He/Him/His. One of my main hobbies is writting, and I post a lot of fanworks/fanfiction on Ao3, my biggest being an unfinished/in-progress (six chapters and counting with bi-monthly updates) Otasune Wild West AU fanfiction titled "Do you think love can bloom, even at high noon?" (My alias on there is "chuckmccrap51," and not eughlol!)
╰┈➤ My other hobbies include playing video games/gaming, listening to/playing music, reading (fanworks/fanfiction and otherwise), and a whole bunch of other stuff that I can't remember right now/be bothered to list. My favorite games/game franchises are Super Mario (most notably), Metal Gear Solid, Like A Dragon: Yakuza, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, The Elder Scrolls (Skyrim is my favorite, but Oblivion is close behind), Minecraft and a few online titles like Fortnite and Splatoon. I've also been playing GoW lately. I play on PS5, PC, and Switch.
╰┈➤ Other than video games, I also like BTTF (all thanks to Bubble), and a bunch of other shows and movies that I'm blanking on (lol).

Happy Pride Month everybody, time for everyone's favorite Tumblr program, eughlol's post, three days late in the making, wishing everybody a happy Pride Month full of peace, love, joy, whimsy, and remembrance. 🏳️🌈🌈🎉
Remember the golden rule we all learned in kindergarten, "treat others the way you want to be treated." Show outward and expressive love and respect to and for queer people who do not share your identity, whether you are an ally or part of the community. You must be an ally to them just as much as allies that are not part of the community must be to us. Defend them and ensure they have a place to speak at your table. Remember that defending a queer person's right to exist and to persue happiness, along with every single other right they have and deserve, will always be much more important than if you like them as a person or personally understand their identity/labels, EVEN THOUGH THAT'S A VERY IMPORTANT THING TO UNDERSTAND! We need unity within and outside of the community right now, and WE CANNOT BE BLINDED, BROTHERS, WE MUST STAY FOCUSED. 🙏🔥💯
I MAY BE A VERY UNSERIOUS PERSON, AND WANT THIS POST TO BE LIGHT AND CELEBRATORY, BECAUSE WE ALL DESERVE TO BE THAT RIGHT NOW, BUT I AM ALSO SO SERIOUS. THOSE TWO ADJECTIVES CAN COEXIST JUST AS MUCH AS WE CAN. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING IN TO EUGHLOL'S POST, THREE DAYS LATE IN THE MAKING, WISHING EVERYBODY A HAPPY PRIDE MONTH FULL OF PEACE, LOVE, JOY, WHIMSY, AND REMEMBRANCE. 🏳️🌈🌈🎉
given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that
this pride month remember to love and appreciate aromanticism, aromantic people, aromantic love, aromantic relationships. this pride month get more aromantic
Yer art is so amazing! Is there a possibility of doing a guide on how to draw humans?? I’m usually not a human drawer (see Mercury) and am trying to figure it out? I love your style and your humans just look so dynamic and I’m trying to get mine to not look so…flat and stiff. Thx!💚💚💚
(Also maybe see Marty on a horse???? Plz??? I love pt.3)
HIHIHIHIHIHIHI THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
i'm not completely sure how useful a guide from me would be, i barely know what i'm doing either HAHAHAHAHA but i'm more than happy to kind of explain my study regimien(?) how i personally tackle human anatomy and whatnot :)
another long wall of text/images under the cut :)
the key to anatomy imo is to find a way YOU find it easy to draw!!! a lot of tutorials never really stuck for me and i had to kind of develop my own way of constructing things, and even then, i'm sort of ONLY on construction, i really struggle with going more in-depth with muscle placement and whatnot
it took me a really long time to get comfy with where i am and even then my lines arent as comfortable as i'd like them to be but you know i'm always learning!! that's the fun part :) anything to draw michael j fox better ykwim
1 gesture drawings - I LOVE GESTURE DRAWING its definitely what's helped me the most! you can get references off of pinterest but if you want timed exercises i 1 billion percent recommend GESDRAWPARTY , they have such a wide library of videos that you can just put on and follow! having a timer forces you to simplify the body and focus on what makes the movement/figure clear! line of action is another great resource! the key is to study ur fundamentals/realistic proportions and then take those rules and completely break them
^^^^^ along with this i also reccomend taking dance videos (or any video where people are doing physical activity) and pausing them when in motion! this again kinda forces your brain to focus on what to emphasise! all of these are done between 30 seconds - 3 minutes, except for the michael j fox set which were all 5 minutes cause i was dealing with clothes, something im really struggling with atm
don't mind the clothing i'm wokring on it HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ALSO i recommend doing these on pen and paper from time to time as it forces you to be okay with what ypu've put down, you can't erase it!!! obvi you can go in with maybe a diff colour and try and study where you're struggling (that's what i do) but having the pen there makes it permanent which helps with line confidence!
*** also in this same vein if you're asking abt facial construction along with anatomy, this is another thing where it REALLYYYY depends on style, but my recommendation is to start with realistic portraits (or as realistic as you can, i really struggle with proper realism) but for me what helped the most was studying the asaro head i believe it's called and figuring out the planes of the face, and using that in my facial construction work!
also also i recommend live drawing! i'll just go out and camp at a cafe for like an hour or two and just do pen sketches of people i see out! there's no better reference than real life after all :) i draw really slow so its helped me capture movement/figure faster since you typically have to fight against the chance of people moving at any given moment
2 study your favourite artists!!! - every artist does anatomy a little differently!!! my advice is to go and find your favourite artists, look at their pieces, FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS YOU LIKE (this is the most important part!!!!!!) and then study that!!
for example, my favourite artist is hidari, who people might recognize for their work on fire emblem: shadows of valentia! i personally enjoy their proportions + facial/hair style, so i've done like 7 billion studies of their work! (they're the right image)
and of course this wouldn't be a bubble post without appreciating my fellow bttf artists! i save so much art onto my phone and then analyze what i want to take from their style and try and apply it in my own work! especially when it comes to drawing marty HAHAHAHAHAHA i try and figure out what makes everyone's art so appealing and then study it in my own time :) you'll typically see in my tags what i am planning to steal/study from someone's artstyle /pos
3 HAVE FUN! (apply your studies) - don't make my mistake and jsut study a bunch of references and do nothing else! for a very long time i got really good at copying pictures but struggled to apply what i had learnt into my personal artwork! ironically enough, getting back into bttf is what made me want to draw personal art and finally begin to apply things into what i draw! and also in my experience if you're not enjoying the study at least a little bit you're not gonna learn anything
uh yeah i think thats about it? again i don't. really . know what i'm doing either? i'm fortunate enough to have a very talented best friend who shares all her wisdom with me so 99% of this is stuff i've learnt off her :3 ily wife!
marty on horse for you :3 i cannot draw horses
good luck! <3 i'm so honored you'd ask me for something like this hahaha i really don't feel like ik what i'm doing but if any of thise help i'll be happy :)
sure hopin' you’re considerin’ the future, mr. eastwood
happy birthday part 3 this took me way too long LMFAO rendering got hands….. anyways this is for project i’m working on shshshshhhhhhhh but i wanted to share the piece for it! yay

whoever designed his poncho has it out for me specifically ☹️☹️
stop. analyse that text through the lens of its author's intentions and original historical context. okay now take the author out back and kill them dead and analyse that text as though it were published by your mutual yesterday and is in direct conversation the contemporary discourse that's most relevant to your life. okay now pick your favorite angle of interpretation and come up with the strongest possible argument against it. now imagine that the text is your best friend and that it means you well and that you naturally give it every benefit of the doubt because you're on its side and you want the best for it. now imagine that the text wants you dead and it'll eat you if you don't eat it first. now pretend that you found this text locked away in a cave with no evidence of when or where it came from and you have to divine its meaning solely through its internal coherence and nothing else. okay now address the elephant in the room aspect of the text you've been ignoring because you find it boring or confusing or uncomfortable and become the number one expert on it. now spend forty minutes assigning all the characters dnd classes with at least three sentences of reasoning each. okay now do the cha cha slide.
HEARTBREAKING: friends who i should be going to the movies and playing dnd and watching anime and cosplaying and going to the mall and having sleepovers and exploring the woods with live one hundred trillion miles away
