I'm Charlie (any pronouns) and I'm 20 years old. My main is @softerserenity and I'll follow back from there!

I made this blog to talk and share things about my interests and the fandoms I'm in! I definitely identify and qualify as a fangirl. I'm generally into animanga, video games, some MCYTbers, some transmedia projects, and K-POP.

If you're into that and curious, I watch xB, Gem, Joel, and occasionally Ren and Etho for HC11!

I'll talk about a lot of different things here, but I'll always try to tag media with their full name and also tag any ships included. My talking tag, for general idiocy or potential non-fandom related posts, is "#rank up!"

I'm also a writer, I write both fanfic and original fiction! I'm on AO3 as Eulbyrreb if you wanna read my fanfics.

I do have opinions when it comes to fandom discourse but I don't want to share them here. Just know that if you're a playground bully, you're getting blocked.

In all seriousness though as someone who was parentified and expected to grow up very quickly very early, this arc does Things To Me. This FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD is visibly expected to act as a translator, mediator, and protector for grown ass adults who visibly can't handle themselves, as well as watch over children, which are all responsibilities that shouldn't fall on the shoulders of a young teenager under any circumstances.

The fact that Suo keeps things from people to avoid hurting them no matter how much it hurts him. Because he CARES. I can't get over how much that boy cares. "We're nothing" liar 🫵 I saw you longing for deep connection. He didn't need to help Nirei or hang out with the others or even help as much as he did in the Noroshi war thing which was in the middle of the night but He Did It Anyway.

He is so dear to my heart yall I swear. His character is truly "the tragedy of being loved" and it means SO MUCH to me

I have a small thought. I wonder how many of Suo’s lies are just half truths or obfuscation. Like the name thing. We were all suspicious about it but without confirmation if was just Suo being the lil weirdo he is, right?

but now we know that it was a half truth. So how many other moments of him being him are just. Him trying very hard to not full on lie to these people he very clearly cares so much for.

Honestly I'm fine with Bulgaria winning. I didn't like the song but it was objectively pretty good, and she was so cool I loved her energy. And I love that she absolutely beat the fuck out of Israel 💕

Nobody gives a fuck but here's my ESC ranking because some of the takes I've seen on the clock app have been giving me hives.

No hate to the artists, I'm sure they're lovely. And I'm not a hardcore ESC fan, so I don't care about the fandom drama.

From least fav to fav:

15- Israel. Go boy give us nothing 🥰 Also Michele is my grandma's name so that was weird. It's so Israeli (trying to appear soft and nice to the public) it's killing me. Kudos to the absolute legend screaming "stop the genocide" at the top of their lungs during the performance though.

14 - Greece. No. I've always hated this type of songs, and it's not a cat-eared orange man who's gonna change my opinion on the matter. It's giving tiktok brainrot.

13 - Georgia. Genuinely what the fuck was that.

12 - Serbia. It's unassumed pop pretending to be metal and I say this as a pop fan. It tries so hard to be both it ends up being neither, and bad.

11 - Montenegro. Off-key the entire time and the fact that people can't hear it worries me. The performance wasn't bad.

10 - Lithuania. I get the artistic intent and I don't dislike it, but dude what the actual fuck was that singing.

9 - Portugal. I wasn't bad, just forgettable honestly. The singing was okay, the song was okay, but that's about it. It's not ESC material to me.

8 - Sweden. This is where it starts getting pretty good. The singing wasn't bad, nice performance. I'm not the biggest fan of the song.

7 - Moldova. Fun. I liked the energy. Not super memorable in my opinion, but I watched the performance after the others since I missed them live, so that might be why.

6 - Belgium. Her vocals were good. Shame that the performance was a little underwhelming because I'm sure she can do better. The costume looked like it was bothering her. I like the song.

5 - Estonia. I'm soooo here for the rock resurgence in modern pop I need more of this right now. Also Vanilla Ninja is a banger band name.

4 - Croatia. I loveeee this kind of sound so much! It was a breath of fresh air during the evening, I really enjoyed it. The performance looked so good as well.

3 - Poland. Best vocals of the evening of course. I liked the idea of the performance, with the slope, but it was a little underwhelming. The vocal power could've carried a flashier performance.

2 - San Marino. MY SHAYLAAAAAAAA I'm so sad it didn't qualify. It wasn't revolutionary but the energy!!! The smile!!! And it was just generally a really good song. And it had Boy George in it.

1 - Finland. They are THE MOMENT. Everything. The fire, the emotion and intensity of the vocals, the banger violin solo... Just chef's kiss 10/10.

I haven't talked abt it before because I don't really care about the show but the tadc situation is actually baffling.

I don't think Gooseworx has the right to be surprised when there are racists in her fandom when she kept (even jokingly) calling herself a nazi. It might not be intentional but that still fosters a safe environment for actual nazis and I'm tired of people pretending that those involved are innocent victims here.

Calling yourself a nazi, even as an "edgy joke", has never been and will never be anything other than offensive.

And of course everyone says "fuck racism" until it's about your favourite show, but that's not new.
