Theoâs relief efforts had come to a stand still after the recent strange attack of some sort. Yes, Christopher Thorne had gone missing, but the vampires were the oneâs reeling and suffering from their own home district being filled with the scent of fresh blood. Young vampires were barely able to control themselves, and even the most experienced vampires were getting that horrible hunger in the pit of their insatiable stomachs. Theo felt he was somewhere in the middle of being young and being experienced, and he felt utterly incapable right now.
Even as he sat in the Town Center on a bench, watching the empty streets, he felt that horrible starvation. The blood had since been cleaned up, of course, but the smell seemed to linger. Almost like there was something amplifying the smell on purpose to make the vampires go crazy.
Suddenly he felt a touch on his arm and he turned, grabbing the arm of the person and frowning up at them with a look that was very unlike Theo. He looked hungry. âAh-!â then he realized and pulled his hand back, standing up and giving a full bow of apology. âIâm sorry. I didnât mean that, I just havenât felt like myself lately. Are you alright?â
Under current circumstances, Joseph would be the first to give the vampires a hug. Or get killed by one. Either way, he felt awful for them. Having the human population hate them even more than they normally did couldnât be easy...
As he trudged back home from work, a quiet yawn leaving his mouth every so often, he noticed a forlorn looking person sitting on a bench nearby. Tilting his head, he walked over to check on them. âHey-â he broke off as his hand was grabbed, eyes widening in shock. So it was Theo but... he didnât seem ok... âOh,â he waved his hand nonchalantly, trying to wave off the fact that his heart was pounding out of his chest (and the fact that Theo definitely could hear that). âIâm alright but...â he smiled, eyes somewhat worried. âIâm guessing you arenât?â
