@euphemeron
"Of course there always will be darkness but I realize now something inhabits it. Historical or not. Sometimes it seems like a cat, the panther with its moon mad gait or a tiger with stripes of ash and eyes as wild as winter oceans. Sometimes it's the curve of a wrist or what's left of romance, still hiding in the drawer of some long lost nightstand or carefully drawn in the margins of an old discarded calendar. Sometimes it's even just a vapor trail speeding west, prophetic, over clouds aglow with dangerous light. Of course these are only images, my images, and in the end they're born out of something much more akin to a Voice, which though invisible to the eye and frequently unheard by even the ear still continues, day and night, year after year, to sweep through us all."
@andthefkingmelodrama [PART II] What I liked was the Gardener's story and as I mentioned I came to like Fabien. Forgetful, confused, and very much imperfect Fabien. They were also merciful enough to give us option to skip the investigation once we completed it once. I liked the snowy streets of the City that seemed to be immersed in a deep slumber, the beatiful graveyard and Cathedral, the tents outside the factory grounds and people looking for a scrap of warmth. Architecture felt more alive than those who had hearts in themselves. I loved the freedom of exploration, the traversing system was exceptionaly fun to use, even if little ridiculous at times. You could just spend hours running, gliding and sliding from rooftop to rooftop while everything beneth felt insignificant. (You will mourn this in the DLCs) The character customisation was decent on an aesthetic level. The exploration of the ruins of old Seattle felt like the first instance this game felt like an horror, with shadows, sound, and things that should stay there creeping up slowly upon you. Somehow disciplines felt much less distinct than they did in the first game. For me only Obtenebration felt like something slightly otherwordly. If this game were parkour simulator I would say they did their job correctly, but as a story to be told, it feels at the same time like it could be told without you. You are witness in your own unlife, and the voice is lost in the crowd. Give the mic to someone who has something to say, and in the meantime maybe dust a shelf or two and find a thing that might bring you joy. I do not hate it, I just feel like it was murdered before it had a chance to take form. And no amount of fixes or patches would rise it up from it's early grave. Is there a future for this series? Let me leave you with this.
@andthefkingmelodrama After many attempts I think I broke tumblr with the amount of words, so I have to answer this way.
[PART I]
If you would took out all of the sauce, pasta and cheese out of spaghetti would it still be a spaghetti? What made first Bloodlines so great was not the combat, which was clunky at best, not the enviorment design which was an illuminated box in a void, not even the grand intrigue.. it was the writing of characters. From the simplest bum sleeping the cold night under uncaring sky, to pornography seller, exotic dancer that dreamt of being a vampire hunter, impoverished factory worker that now unwillingly lead the rebel movement, to the prince in the ivory tower that cried every night from the weight of his own ambition, every character had their unique voice and felt in place in the niche they occupied and delievered sometimes one of the funniest and propably bone chilling lines by today's standards. You could feel that their absence would make a difference, because they were interwoven with the place they came from. And they were absurd, and wild, and unapologetic. This game was not loved because it was perfect, it was mended and put together throughout the years like leprosy patient suffering from memory loss, just because people believed in it so much.
@the-oceanographer not a word. š
"it's a tv show" "it's not real" i don't care. NO SHOES ON THE BED
of course an addition
I saw a tiktok of someone saying they could never be a vampire because their name is too lame, like The vampire Jeff
So... based on your name are you becoming a vampire or not? š
There's already a vampire with my name.. sooo
If you listen to women you might realize that so many things are actually enjoyable. I don't know why you listen to that manosphere horseshit - it seems so miserable, like learned helplessness for guys who want a failing score in Relationship

let's go!
Warhammer is such a grim and unforgiving world. Meanwhile my dream: - Welcome to the Night Lords, I see you're almost ready, here is your helmet. "It has bat wings, like on a toy. Keep a straight face" >puts on a helmet >visor/mask is damaged and keeps falling off, with distinguishingly rusty, squeaking, maybe a little sad sound of defeat. "Hold it, hold it. ... No it's hopeless" -You know, it is not working. Maybe there's some undercover reconaissance mission I could take on instead? -Hmmm... >get's shoved into Imperial Fists, brightly yellow, visible from miles away, not looking anything like space construction crane, joke of an armor "Wonderful first day. But you know what they say beggars can't be choosers" You can in fact be sneaky while looking like a humanoid version of a highlighter.
More Sauron sketches.
I don't have my tablet atm so I've been practicing to color with my mouse using the lasso and paint bucket tool lmao.
I live a very balanced life of noticing things nobody else does and not noticing the things that literally everybody notices
Have you played Red Embrace: Hollywood (2019)?
