The lovely ladies of Love Island USA (2025)
Social media has made us so eager to “show and tell” but there is beauty in privacy. Everything isn’t meant to be on display. It’s perfectly fine to keep some things for you.
You must love yourself at every single stage that you’re in

okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
i need all the help i can get for finals
Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
So you know.
This might be the real one, y’all.
I could use some luck

Kurt Vonnegut wrote: “When I was 15, I spent a month working on an archeological dig. I was talking to one of the archeologists one day during our lunch break and he asked those kinds of “getting to know you” questions you ask young people: Do you play sports? What’s your favorite subject? And I told him, no I don’t play any sports. I do theater, I’m in choir, I play the violin and piano, I used to take art classes.
And he went WOW. That’s amazing! And I said, “Oh no, but I’m not any good at ANY of them.”
And he said something then that I will never forget and which absolutely blew my mind because no one had ever said anything like it to me before: “I don’t think being good at things is the point of doing them. I think you’ve got all these wonderful experiences with different skills, and that all teaches you things and makes you an interesting person, no matter how well you do them.”
And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadn’t been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could “Win” at them.
May all Black Women stay Protected✨
Can we talk about how white women have been leading these mass kidnapping and deportations in the US or is it a still too touche of a subject to breach about
Meet the good white mothers, PTA members, and newspaper columnists who were also committed white supremacists.

HOW YOU’RE GOING TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE BEFORE 2027 PART 1:
Firstly you need to remove the distractions like your life depends on it, because it really does. Every timeline jump, every extreme shift in my life started with space from the world. You need to be able to hear from your source, you need to be able to hear from God.
This is first and foremost, because who is leading you? Is it your ego? Your insecurities? Things that are not in alignment? Without this clear channel and direction you will risk moving forward on a path that was never meant for you. This clarity is your Google Maps. But the thing about Google Maps is it only gives you immediate directions as you’re on the journey. Day by day, so in the same sense, locking in requires you to tap in to your internal gps, to access daily directions you receive from God.
What does this look like?
Daily silence: Sit and listen to your source for a minimum of 10 mins but ideally 20 mins - 1 hour per day. LOCK THE FUCK IN WITH YOUR LISTENING.
Yes you might not hear anything at first that’s okay, the important thing is your show up. You keep showing up. You will start to receive guidance, and it might not come in that moment, it might be something you see on social media, a word that pops into your mind later in the day. It might be a conversation, a new connection you meet.
This is the first step. Part 2 up next...

For the sake of your mental health, stop downplaying your growth. Your younger self is so proud of how far you've come.
Also while we're all talking about anti-racism, here's a helpful tip:
Performative self-flagellation over being white is not a substitute for doing serious introspection about the ways you have been complicit in or rewarded by a white-supremacist society, nor doing the work to dismantle white supremacy.
A white person chiming in to a conversation about racism to say "I'm sorry for being white" or "white people suck, I say this as a white person" is just a masturbatory way to try to assuage your own feelings of shame without actually doing anything. It doesn't make you look like "one of the good ones." It makes you look like someone who centers your own feelings about it.
