I hope 5 years later from today, I look back at this year, and breathe a sigh of relief that I got through it, that I made the right choices, that somehow Allah made ways and it was all worth it, that all the sacrifices I made weren’t in vain, that the best will come out of them.

Got rejected today at my dream Qur'an Memorization School. What the best I can do to calm my heart? No matter how I whisper to it, I can still somehow feel the hurt. Nonetheless — Alhamdulillah for no one can possibly choose what is best for us except Allah ta’ala.
