[A bark of laughter escapes him, rubbing at the back of his neck sheepishly.] Despite havin' three damn eyes, I was blind to what he was jealous over. That, and, I didnt wanna be a distraction to 'im, gettin' emotions involved. [He sobers, a note of regret in his eyes, the smile holding.] Didn't fess up until we almost lost 'im, when he got his arm shot off.

[A nod is given.] 'course he ain't. Hope he does show, though. I like gettin' to meet other versions of all of us.

Without Kid...yeah, I don't think I woulda turned out near as good a person without 'im. [He can't help a shudder at the idea.] Probably still back on Kutsukku runnin' with the gangs, if not flat out dead by now.

*A deep chuckle is his answer to that.* As if it looks right back at ye.

*hearing this then he turns his head to the older, one of his eyes peeking through the blond thick curls. Brown on the rim of the iris, going to a deep green.* Yer were indeed blind then. I am surprised he didn't grab ye one night.

*he can only nod to that, so far he had counted three that were running around, turning his head towards the sea again as he listens to the older*

[He finds himself briefly distracted by the color of the other's eye. After a moment, he shakes his head with an amused snort.] Did more than that on the regular, which only complicated things. Convinced myself it was just casual. Don't have to have feelin's involved to get with someone, after all. I was just bein' stupid and neither of us were usin' our words. [He laughs at the memory.]

Owe a lot to 'em. Rough times in an even rougher place. [A brow raises.] You got your bounty first? [He perks with a fond grin.] Oh, I can only imagine the earful, fafafa!

[Fondness softens his features, the permanent smile as gentle as the curse allows.] Things are good. Got a prettybig target on our backs now, with him wearin' that title, but we're ready to defend it. Hell Victorious is a sailin' fortress and the crew are...well, the crew. Always up for a brawl and a celebration after. [He sighs.] It's true freedom. And we're happy.

They hold up the crate of booze they were holding

I made sure to bring plenty in case others from your crew wanted to join.

"Got a lounge down on the lower deck, mighty comfy to kick back in. And bringin enough to share with everyone is a surefire way to win em over."

[Gesturing for Marshall to follow, Killer leads the way to the door he appeared from, then down some stairs. He detours first to the galley to get the food he prepared.]

"Fixed what you were talkin about and a few other things, and there's always snacks layin around in the lounge, too, so I'd say we're set."

[With everyone on a tray, he leaves the galley and head down the hall a bit further before shoving a door open with his foot. The lounge! It's all couches, beanbag chairs, a pool table, dart boards, a pinball machine, a fridge, a small stage for playing their instruments on, a bar, and a big projector screen for watching stuff on. It essentially looks like a rock dive bar with comfier seating.]]

"Here we go, make yourself at home. You can set your crate over on the bar."

they walk over the the bar and place the crate on it before grabbing a couple of bottles out of the crate, walking over to one of the bean bag chairs and plopping down on it. They hold one of the bottles out to Killer

[Killer sets the tray of food down on the coffee table near the bean bags so he can accept the bottle from Marshall with a grin.]

"Hell yeah, we do. No point havin' treasure if ya don't know how to spend it. Can't take it with us to hell, after all."

[He drops into one of the other chairs opposite his guest.]

"Figured we should go all-out after we lost the first ship. Everyone's got their own room to do up however they want."

Oh shit. Ya lost the first ship?

"All good, it's been a little over ten years now. Was a pretty nasty loss on our part, and how I got my eye fucked up."

[He taps the scar on his left cheek that runs up and over his foggy eye.]

"Had just got to Elbaph after we kicked Big Mom's ass in Wano. Ran into Shanks' fleet and Kid was ready to take em all down in one shot. Didn't count on that Future Sight thing he's got and before Kid could pull the trigger, Redhair got to our ship and put 'im down in one swing of his sword."

[Killer shrugs, popping the cork on his own bottle to take a sip before continuing.]

"I took the backswing across the face, hit the deck and blacked out. From what I heard, ship caught fire and once Shanks cleared out, two of his giant allies split the ship right in half. We were able to salvage some of her, used the pieces when we had this bad bitch made."

Marshall's piercing red eyes widened slightly

... Man... this Shanks guy sounds pretty nasty kehe... How did you guys survive?

"Wouldn't guess it, just lookin' at the guy, but yeah. Don't reach bein' an Emperor for nothin'."

[Killer snorts with a sly edge to his perpetual grin.]

"We're a bunch of punk, cockroach motherfuckers. Even if it'd killed us, we woulda clawed our way back outta hell to get even. Even with his Haki as strong as it was, enough of the crew didn't get knocked out so when we hit the water, they got the rest of us to shore. Had to lay low for a good while to lick our wounds before we could get goin' again."

[Killer takes a swig and sighs.]

"But I also know one person ain't the same as another, so your reason is likely different than mine."

[After a swig of his drink, Killer adds:] "And if the revs do get back to ya, we ain't gonna stop ya goin' with 'em. They're alright in my books."

[Idly munching on a few grapes, Killer accepts the pen. He takes a hit and leans back a bit, offering it back with a sigh.]

"Now we just mostly roam, waitin' for the fight to come to us. Hit up islands to relax, fuck with the Marines. Pretty chill, honestly."

I probably won't do much fighting... but I can do other things. Uuuuhhh...

They hold up the crate of booze they were holding

I made sure to bring plenty in case others from your crew wanted to join.

"Got a lounge down on the lower deck, mighty comfy to kick back in. And bringin enough to share with everyone is a surefire way to win em over."

[Gesturing for Marshall to follow, Killer leads the way to the door he appeared from, then down some stairs. He detours first to the galley to get the food he prepared.]

"Fixed what you were talkin about and a few other things, and there's always snacks layin around in the lounge, too, so I'd say we're set."

"Here we go, make yourself at home. You can set your crate over on the bar."

[Killer sets the tray of food down on the coffee table near the bean bags so he can accept the bottle from Marshall with a grin.]

"Hell yeah, we do. No point havin' treasure if ya don't know how to spend it. Can't take it with us to hell, after all."

[He drops into one of the other chairs opposite his guest.]

"Figured we should go all-out after we lost the first ship. Everyone's got their own room to do up however they want."

[Killer takes a swig and sighs.]

"But I also know one person ain't the same as another, so your reason is likely different than mine."

[After a swig of his drink, Killer adds:] "And if the revs do get back to ya, we ain't gonna stop ya goin' with 'em. They're alright in my books."

[Idly munching on a few grapes, Killer accepts the pen. He takes a hit and leans back a bit, offering it back with a sigh.]

"Now we just mostly roam, waitin' for the fight to come to us. Hit up islands to relax, fuck with the Marines. Pretty chill, honestly."

I probably won't do much fighting... but I can do other things. Uuuuhhh...

"Oh, but, so you know. You don't gotta stay on full time. We got one that takes off on her own to do her own thing. So, if you end up with the revs, that don't mean you can't also be a punk with us."
