The People He Saved, The Lives He Changed
One way or another throughout his life thereâs a number of people whose lives he had made some impact to. There are people he saved and lives he changed.Â
Kuga
He saved Kuga from a dark path and from a world ready to swallow him. His dazzling light was kept and he was pointed to a safe place - in the arms of the person he loved.
Kageyama
He met the love of his life through Yashiro. And way way back, Yashiro sacrificed himself and was left with no choice but to follow a dark path to save Kageyama from sorrow. He has done so much for Kageyama. I sometimes think that aside from his fear of rejection he never dared let his feelings be known to Kageyama because he wants to save Kageyama from himself - a self he believes to be twisted. He wanted Kageyama to live a happy and normal life with a person who is his light. And he remained to be the friend protecting Kageyama in the shadows.
Nanahara
In Yashiroâs own signature twisted way, he saved Nanahara years ago. And through that he gained a loyal subordinate. And even when he is heavily wounded he still left the hospital immediately to search for Nanahara and to stop his idiot subordinate from whatever plans he has that could endanger his life. They went into that car chase with chestnut dudes because he wants Nanahara alive.
Misumi
I just have a feeling that in this manâs dark and notorious past, Yashiro in a way has saved him as well. In that past where he is drowning in despair, pain and anger with the deaths of people important to him, Yashiro entered in his life and stirred up things. Yashiro has a part on why this man has mellowed down through the years.
Ryuuzaki
Yashiro saved Ryuuzakiâs ass from Hirataâs clutches. He at least escaped instant death from Hirataâs hands (and hopefully he doesnât die). And by his request Yashiro will also save his woman.
Aoi
He saved her from the years of guilt over what happened in the past making her realize that her brother doesnât hate her and has not totally thrown away his family. Through that she and her brother reconciled and she was able to look forward to a life with happiness and hope. Yashiro even opened up to her about his past to make her feel that he can relate to what she is feeling.Â
They just had different ways of coping.
Doumeki
He gave him light and purpose. A meaning of existence for a man who has lost his will and was swallowed up by the guilt of the past. He made him reconcile with his family and with that he could have a place to go back to. He is keeping him from officially becoming a member and continuously giving him opportunities to get out of that world. He saved him from his greatest guilt and fear.
One of the very first posts I wrote for saezuru is this:
a child who needs a hug a person who needs love a human who needs understanding a soul who needs saving
I really want to see and witness that glorious moment when it is Yashiroâs turn to be saved.. from the prison of the past, from the cage of the present, and from the walls of a lonely future he has built around himself.
