YOUNG & ANOINTED

READ: Genesis 48:8-20

I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

1 John 2:14

A novice does not understand promotion. A novice thinks that he must be promoted because he is older. It is because you are new in the house of the Lord that you think that age makes you more senior to anyone. The kingdom of God is not run by people who are older, per se. “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues” (1 Corinthians 12:28).

God has His reasons for raising one above the other, as was the case with Ephraim and Manasseh the sons of Joseph:

And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.

Genesis 48:14

Joseph himself was thirty years old when he became a prime minister. As a young man, Joseph had ruled over many people who were more experienced and older than he was. Age is not what determines your rank. It is the grace of God and the gift of God that determines who you are in the kingdom.

Jesus was just thirty years old when He became the famed preacher of Galilee, the miracle worker, the healer and the anointed One. You can become great in the kingdom, even though you are a young person. God is ready to use you, no matter your age.

A novice thinks he has to grow older, lose all natural desires and develop grey hair in order to be high-ranking in God’s kingdom. You will be anointed with fresh oil as a young person!

EMPOWERED BY EVANGELISM!

READ: Luke 14:16-24

And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. THEY THAT GO DOWN TO THE SEA IN SHIPS, THAT DO BUSINESS IN GREAT WATERS; THESE SEE THE WORKS OF THE LORD, and his wonders in the deep. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Psalm 107:22-25

When apostles evangelize, the apostolic ministry is energized and empowered. When prophets evangelize, they move a notch higher. When pastors evangelize, their churches grow mystically.

I am speaking to those who are pastors, prophets, apostles and teachers. I promise you that your apostolic ministry will go to higher heights when you embark on the work of evangelism. I am an apostle and I have built many churches. There is evidence of that. I can tell you that every ministry gift is mystically and convincingly accomplished as you do the work of an evangelist.

Going deeper with evangelistic fishing gives rise to catches of much bigger souls and fish. Imagine catching a blue whale for the Lord! Can you imagine what that represents in the spirit? The blue whale is the largest animal ever to have lived on earth.

You must go deeper into evangelism and missions by following the example and the teaching of Jesus Christ. The master sent his servants to invite as many friends as possible. Obviously, these friends were living in the beautiful suburbs of their cities.

Here we learn a lesson of going deeper in evangelism and missions. The master sent his servants to the streets and lanes of the city but there was still room at the party. The master then sent his servants to the highways and there was still room. The master now sent his servants to the hedges, the bushes and the forests.

By this story, Jesus teaches us to go further, deeper into the fields that are white unto the harvest. In your lifetime and my lifetime, we will never finish going into the mission fields. The world is too big for you to finish evangelizing and doing missions in your lifetime. We will be on this work till our very last breath.

A GREAT SIGN

READ: John 21:1-17

He shall FEED his flock like a shepherd: he shall GATHER the lambs with his arm, and CARRY them in his bosom, and shall gently LEAD those that are with young.

Isaiah 40:11

Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him. “If you love me, feed my sheep,” he said. Feeding the sheep and looking after them is one of the greatest signs that you love God. Jesus spoke to Peter and said, “Feed my sheep if you love me.”

Pastoring people and teaching them the word of God is a sign that you love Jesus. Every pastor is a God-lover. I encourage you to be a pastor, a carer and a feeder of the sheep. God looks on lovingly when you teach and feed the people of God. It is nice that you give offerings and that you pay tithes. But Jesus did not say, “If you love me, pay your tithes.” Jesus did not say, “If you love me, give a lot of offerings.” Jesus did not say, “If you love me, be a member of the Building Committee.” Jesus did not say, “If you love me, join the Business Community.” If you love the Lord, you will be a shepherd so that you can care for the brethren.

Jesus was clear on what Peter had to do if he loved the Lord. Feed my sheep! Teach my people! Tend my lambs! This instruction is a great and clear revelation of what to do if you love Jesus. If you love the Lord, you will feed, you will gather, you will carry and you will lead the brethren to God. Feeding, gathering, carrying and leading God’s people are a great sign of your loving God.

GOOD CHILDREN

READ: Genesis 4:1-16

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I HAVE NOURISHED AND BROUGHT UP CHILDREN, AND THEY HAVE REBELLED AGAINST ME.

Isaiah 1:2

God was expecting fruit from His creation. Cain and Abel were the prosperous children of Adam and Eve. Abel brought God a good fruit of a lamb. Cain gathered some vegetables together and presented them to the Lord.

God was expecting something with life and not some dried leaves. God was expecting something substantial from His creation. Yet, only one of them - Abel, felt it was necessary to bring a good fruit to the Lord. This was the beginning of all curses on the earth. Cain opened the door for curses to come into this world, and it all happened because he would not give the fruit expected of him.

When children are brought up, good fruit is expected from them. Every parent is expecting a good return for his hard investment. When a child grows up and brings forth rebellion, it can only lead to a curse.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I HAVE NOURISHED AND BROUGHT UP CHILDREN, AND THEY HAVE REBELLED AGAINST ME. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, THEY HAVE PROVOKED THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL UNTO ANGER, THEY ARE GONE AWAY BACKWARD.

Isaiah 1:1-4

Every child must yield good fruit towards his parents. Do not be a rebel! Do not give your parents disobedience, rebellion and a bad attitude!

SERVING JESUS

READ: Acts 26:24-32

But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

Acts 26:25

Apostle Paul absolutely rejected the world’s opinion of him. Worldly men thought he was mad. But he knew he was doing the right thing. Absolutely reject every worldly opinion about your church activities and your ministry. If the world finds you crazy for going on a mission, they will realise, on their dying day that you chose the right thing and it was right for you to give thanks to God by giving Him your life.

If the love of the world is in you the love of the Father is not in you (1 John 2:15). As you grow in your love and appreciation of God you will absolutely reject the world, its standards and all its ideas. Do not love the world! Do not like the things that are in the world. Do not admire them. Do not try to be like the world.

Apostle Paul was so grateful to God for saving him and putting him in His service. He said to the king, “I wish everybody would be like me. Of course, I would not want everybody to be a prisoner like I am. But I really wish everyone would serve God as much as I do.”

When you have found a good thing, you will always want to share it with others. Other people are going to be glad when they find Jesus in the same way that you have found Him. I have always wanted people to appreciate God and to love and serve Him as much as I try to.

It is great thing to serve the Lord. Serving Jesus is what is called the high calling. When you are in the ministry you look after the spirits and souls of men; the part of men that is going to live forever.

There are pastors who do not want their children to be ministers of the gospel. If what you are doing is a great thing, you should desire all your children to live the way you live.

ACCOUNTABILITY & JUSTICE

READ: 2 Corinthians 5:6-15

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

2 Corinthians 5:11

There will be great terror at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Fear like no man has ever known will grip the hearts and minds of those who did not fear God and His Word. Everyone who took God for granted will be shocked. Apostle Paul describes it as “the terror of the Lord”.

Preach about the terror of the Lord so that Christians fear the Lord and prepare properly for the judgments. God is not a fool. In eternity, those who have obeyed God and those who have ignored the Word of God will not be the same. God is just and fair!

There are many terrible judgments that befall Christians on earth. When you experience a judgment on earth, it is so that you do not experience the terror of the Lord at the eternal judgment. If you pass on and seem to escape any form of judgment on earth, despite all the bad things you do, be it known to you that you will meet the terror of the Lord at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ. After the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ experience, no one will ever think that anyone has gotten away with doing bad things.

BUT WHY DOST THOU JUDGE THY BROTHER? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Romans 14:10

Today, Christians despise one another and speak words of judgment against each other constantly. There is no need for that. Judgment will happen at the Bema.

Wait for the Judgment Seat of Christ where all issues will be made clear. Liars will be proven to be liars. Hypocrites will be shown to be hypocrites. Pretenders will be exposed. No one will escape the fierce judgment of Christ. Stop passing judgment on fellow brothers. Pray for yourself so that you have an easier experience at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

HONOUR & MIRACLES

17th July, 2026

READ: Mark 6:1-6, 32-56

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

John 11:1-2

Honour stirs up the gift of God. Jesus performed the miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead because He was honoured by the sisters of Lazarus. They honoured Jesus by having Him in their home and giving Him comfort, food and rest from the public. Jesus really loved these two ladies.

Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

John 11:5

Indeed, a prophet is not without honour except in his own country. Perhaps, the best example of this principle is found in the sixth chapter of Mark. At the beginning of this chapter, you see how Jesus was unable to perform mighty miracles (Mark 6:5). Because of the lack of respect and appreciation, Jesus Christ travelled away from those who dishonoured Him and went towards people who loved, respected and welcomed Him.

Even the Son of God who could raise the dead after four days was unable to perform miracles where He was not honoured. It is no wonder that the Holy Spirit is described as a dove. A dove is very sensitive to slight movements, and any kind of threat from a human being. The anointing is equally very sensitive to respect, to appreciation and to honour. Where there is the slightest lack of respect and honour and appreciation, the anointing does not work.

Throughout the sixth chapter of the book of Mark, we see amazing miracles taking place including the feeding of five thousand people. By the end of the sixth chapter of Mark sick people were being carried towards Jesus from all over the world, just so that Jesus would touch them and they would heal them. Jesus began the sixth chapter of Mark without honour and there were no miracles. He ended the sixth chapter of Mark as the miracle man whom the whole world sought after (Mark 6:55-56).

GOOD LISTENING

READ: 2 Peter 1:12-21

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Psalm 62:11

“Hearing twice” is the art of listening to preaching repetitively - several times over. It is only when you listen to a message twice that you really hear from God. Repeated hearing is “the art of hearing” for ministers. Until you have learnt to listen repetitively, you have not learnt to listen.

God will always speak once but you must hear it at least twice. Indeed, there are messages you need to hear a hundred times over. Many people are poor listeners. “Poor listening leads to assumptions and misunderstandings.”

There may be one thousand people in a church service but perhaps only one or two will listen to the message twice. Those are the people that are called by God. Without listening to a message several times over, you will not benefit from it.

Many years ago, I discovered a message by Kenneth Hagin entitled “The Greater One In You.” I listened to this particular message hundreds of times. Getting to the end of this message, Kenneth Hagin would burst out in tongues and speak in tongues intermittently for about thirty minutes. I just enjoyed listening to this message over and over. I enjoyed listening to the tongues. I felt encouraged when I listened to the message. I felt empowered and emboldened for ministry.

I never attended Kenneth Hagin’s Bible school but as I listened to that message, I realised that he was preaching to his Bible school students. By listening to this message repeatedly, I became a Bible student without intending to. I enjoyed the Bible school environment without even knowing that I was participating in a Bible school class. Even up till today, I benefit from that message.

The reality is that we do not retain much of what we hear. Many different secular studies show that we need to listen more than once. You must rise with zeal and become an ardent repetitive listener to messages.

DAILY MANNA

READ: Exodus 16:9-21

And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Exodus 16:15

One of the most important things for ministry is to have a daily quiet time. God has a message for you every day. In the wilderness, the children of Israel were taught how to get daily manna. It was something they had to humble themselves to find. It was something they had to humble themselves to do. Amazingly, the Holy Spirit has something for you every day. You cannot rely on what He told you seven years ago. God is leading you every day and He is giving you a Word every day. Humble yourself and learn this amazing secret.

I once wrote a book about “The Quiet Time”. Many people despised the book and thought it was a book for secondary school children. Many people would be surprised to find out that the quiet time is one of the greatest secrets for any minister.

Having my quiet time is one of my greatest secrets. A quiet time is a special time with God every day when He speaks to you and leads you. Almost all my messages come from the quiet times I have had with God.

It is during the quiet times that I receive my daily manna. God was trying to teach the children of Israel to depend on Him for a daily Word. This was one of the great lessons of the wilderness. Unfortunately, many ministers do not catch this revelation when they are in the wilderness. Instead of depending on the daily manna to take them out of the wilderness, they turn away from these basics and move into vain jangling. Few survive in the wilderness because they do not learn how to eat daily manna.

OFFENCES & STUBBORNNESS

READ: Proverbs 18:17-21

A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city...

Proverbs 18:19 (NKJV)

This scripture means that it is a lot easier to conquer or win a strong city than to reconcile a brother who is offended.

A person becomes stubborn when he feels that he is right and has been wronged. A hardening takes place in the person’s soul. This stage of offence is called stubbornness.

Offended people have a very good memory for bad things that have happened to them but a poor memory for the good things that have been done for them. This selective memory for bad things helps them always remember wrongs committed against them. It is this selective memory that is the basis for the stubbornness that is found in an offended person.

The painful memories become a mental picture they permanently carry around. This is a major blessing blocker.

The scripture says that a brother offended is harder to be won than capturing a fenced city.

Offended people rarely change their minds. I remember one offended person who was rebuked and corrected about a minor issue. This individual became so offended that nothing could change his mind for fifteen years. Over the period of fifteen years every possible act of love was shown to this person. Yet, in stubbornness, this individual refused to see anything good in anything that was ever done. Watch out for those who are hard and stubborn. They are probably wounded soldiers.

DEALING WITH OFFENCES

READ: Matthew 18:21-35

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Matthew 18:7

A taster of ministry is a Chrisian who is slightly acquainted with ministry. Being an acquaintance is different from being a friend. An acquaintance is someone you know but who is not a close friend. When you are a taster of ministry, you are in it but you are not close. When you are close, there are always more things that you know, see and feel. When you are close you join the decision-making process. When you are a taster, you hear about the decisions and receive announcements. When you are deeply involved, you see the tension and feel the stress that goes on behind the scenes.

If you have been in full time ministry for just two or three years, you have had a brief encounter with real ministry. You need to stay in the ministry for ten years, fifteen years, twenty years and more. It is nice that you have started out and have spent two years of your life working in the ministry. But that is just a brief encounter. Many things happen as time goes by.

In a brief encounter, you will not be offended. As the years go by, you will definitely be offended. Jesus predicted that offences would surely come. This means that it is a matter of time until you are hurt by something. Jesus actually said that offences were necessary. Why are offences necessary? Because they mature you and they baptize you into the realities that exist in this world.

When you become a partaker of the ministry, you will partake of the hurt and the offences that characterise real ministry. If you are able to survive your hurts and offences then you can become a true partaker.

REPETITIVE PRAYERS

12th July, 2026

READ: 1 Chronicles 14:13-17

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest BY HER CONTINUAL COMING SHE WEARY ME. And the Lord said, hear what the unjust judge saith.

Luke 18:5

Repeatedly coming to God in prayer is not a bad thing. Do not be deceived by anyone who says you should not repeat your prayers. If you pray often, you will by all means repeat your prayers. I am always praying for the Holy Spirit. I am always praying for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. I believe I will continue praying for these Spirits even if it is repetitive.

Jesus commended this lady for her coming continually to the judge. Keep coming continually to the Judge of the whole earth. God will avenge you for your repeated coming. Repeatedly coming in prayer makes you go deeper.

The will of God is something that is important to pray for repeatedly. Why is this? Circumstances change every day. Deception looms all around every day. Demons that we cannot see hover around seeking to deceive, to kill and to destroy.

When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane He prayed repeatedly about the will of God. For three hours he agonized that the will of God should be done. Why would Jesus have to pray about the will of God?

If Jesus did not pray about the will of God, the will of God would not have been done. That is why He prayed about it. It is important for you to pray continuously about the will of God until it comes to pass. Do not be fooled into thinking that you do not need to pray about the will of God in your life. Go deeper into the will of God by constantly seeking the Father’s direction.

TESTS OF HARDNESS

READ: 2 Timothy 2:3-5

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.

Psalm 105:17-19

Joseph went through severe tests of hardness. All his imprisonment, slavery, rejection and punishments were to test whether he had the hardness to be in charge of an entire nation. The hardness test is to see whether you are hard enough for the ministry.

God desires to use you as a soldier. Dear soldier, you need to endure hardness. Without hardness you cannot do most of the things a soldier has to do. You are graduating from being a soft civilian into being a hard soldier for Christ.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:3

Hardness is required for leadership. Leading human beings requires strength, hardness and confidence. If you pass the test of hardness, you will qualify to be in charge of large numbers of people. Softies cannot control the masses.

The masses always have varied ideas about what should be done. Everybody has two ideas to put on the table. With a hundred people at the meeting, you will have two hundred ideas of what must be done. A strong leader must be able to take hard decisions and implement them, even if they are unpopular. Democracy, by its very nature, makes leaders weak. The fact that the leader has to please different groups weakens him.

I remember a pastor who encountered a crisis in his church. During the crisis, he was challenged by some people about his stance on a teaching that I had taught in his church. Although he believed in the teachings, he told the people who challenged him that he was not sure of my teachings. He gave the impression that he did not really know me that well. Those who criticised him were satisfied that he was not really associated with me. When I heard about it, I was amazed that this brother would dissociate himself from my teaching. Later on, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that this brother had failed the test of hardness.

SHINING ATTRACTIONS

READ: Revelation 18:1-16

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

Revelation 18:16

Jesus sent us to preach the gospel to the poor. You and I have been sent to preach the gospel to the poor. Those fulfilling their ministries are often found in poor and humble towns and villages. The more you are attracted to glamorous cities, the less you can go where you are supposed to go. You must overcome the shining deceptions and attractions of glamorous cities.

You must also overcome the shining deceptions and attractions of beautiful women. Many beautiful women attract a series of men to themselves. They shine, they sparkle and they call for you, as they have called for a host of others. Being a spiritual man who is called to build the kingdom of God, you must overcome the demonic spirit that operates through some shiny, glamorous and attractive women.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Revelation 18:3-5

The more attractive a woman is, the more you must be careful about her. Beauty is vain! A lot of beauty often implies a lot of vanity. That is why you must be careful about shining beauties. A shining, glorious and attractive woman can take away your ministry through a demonic spirit. You are overcoming every demonic spirit that has targeted you!

LOVE GIVES!

READ: Ephesians 2:1-2

And now, Israel, what does the Lord my God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being,

Deuteronomy 10:12 (AMP)

God did not just love us by speaking His Word from Heaven. He gave us His Son to prove the reality of His love. Loving always includes giving.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 3:16

Watch out for those who claim to love you. What do they give you to prove their love for you? Is it just words? Think about all the boyfriends you had. You gave yourself to them, and they gave you nothing!

Think about the man who married you. He gave you these: his name, his ring, his commitment, his life, a beautiful wedding, the status and the social standing. What do you give him in return? Think of all the acrobatics and gymnastics you did for those boys who didn’t love you. Why wouldn’t you give more to the one who gave you his life in marriage? Amazingly, people give little or nothing in return to the one who loved them.

If you love the Lord you will give this world’s good. Whatever good thing there is in the world, it is time to give it to God. You can give God more than money. You can present the Lord with the fruits of your field. You can love God by presenting your tomatoes, your car, your furniture and anything you possess.

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

John 3:35

When you love someone, you will give everything you have. The Father loved the Son so much that He gave everything. It is time to love God so much that you give everything. God has given all things into the hands of Jesus because He loves the Son. The Father gave all things to the Son because the Son gave all things to the Father!

MYSTERIOUS LEAVEN

READ: 1 Corinthians 5:1-13

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2 Thessalonians 2:7

Where there is no judgment and justice, evil multiplies and becomes like leaven that is spreading through the dough. Sin is mysterious. Sin is mysterious because the scripture declares it to be so. It is called “the mystery of iniquity”.

One of the mysterious things about sin is that it spreads like leaven within a dough. If you are close to an immoral, lying, stealing and wicked person, you will become like the person because iniquity is a mysterious thing! Sexual perversion spreads mysteriously through the congregation. Adultery spreads amongst pastors without each knowing about the other. This is the reason why Apostle Paul said that you should not fellowship with people who live sinful lives (1 Corinthians 5:11).

Your interaction with pastors who live in adultery will mysteriously cause that adulterous lifestyle to pass on to you. If you fellowship deeply with money-loving and covetous pastors, you will soon be like them. Most money-loving pastors are friends with each other, and they impart to each other the spirits that they have.

A church is a human institution. It is filled with many normal human beings who are equally filled with sexual desires, lusts and human failings. With time, churches are engulfed with lots of immoralities, fornication and adultery. The Corinthian church is a perfect example of this trend. There was immorality, adultery and fornication in the Corinthian church and this problem sought to engulf the ministry.

A failure to pass judgment on deep-seated adultery, fornication, immorality and sexual perversions in the leadership of a church, causes the church to be destroyed. Paul reacted strongly to the fornication and adultery in the Corinthian church. He passed judgment and asked that the people involved be delivered to satan for the destruction of their flesh (1 Corinthians 5:5). The apostle Paul warned the Christians to flee fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18). Then he taught them to avoid fornication by getting married (1 Corinthians 7:2). Paul understood that the Corinthian church had no future if it was overwhelmed by immorality.

LEARNED LEADERS

The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: HE WAKENETH MORNING BY MORNING, HE WAKENETH MINE EAR TO HEAR AS THE LEARNED. The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

Become a learned minister! Become someone who knows more than the people he is leading. People follow someone who knows a little more than they do. Become a learned person by listening to and soaking in preaching messages! Seeing and hearing is your master key to becoming a learned minister.

One of the most important subjects is history. History is important because life goes round in cycles. What happened yesterday is what is going to happen tomorrow.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10

God will speak to you prophetically when you study history. Many prophecies are declarations affirming that the thing which has been is that which shall be. Many of us did not study history in school. And even if we had, we would not remember much of it. Most of the history students I know are unable to apply what they learnt in school to their real lives. You can overcome your history handicap by seeing and hearing. Watch and learn what happened in the past.

Spend time watching videos and documentaries that teach you things that you do not know. By the art of seeing and hearing, you can become a master of varied subjects: science, history, economics, finance, management, psychology, philosophy and sociology!
