lexi frowned at how ashton was teasing her about being annoyed with people today, she shrugged, trying not to get distracted by their closeness, “no…i mean, yeah, someone pissed me off, but i’m way too over it right now to care much..” lexi shook her head, leaning up to barely bump her nose against the other girls, “no, no party drunk again, just give me a good distraction.”

ashton gave a small frown when she realized that whatever it had been to piss lex off was something serious enough that she clearly wasn’t a fan of her teasing. chewing on her bottom lip she dropped the playfullness and her hand simply flattened against dani’s side, her thumb brushing back and forth. “if you wanna talk about it, i’m willing to listen,” she whispered. leaning up to bump her nose back she leaned forward and placed a small peck on her lips before mumbling, “let’s go play mini golf.”

“An image is a distortion of truth, when you take a picture you are capturing a moment that is already in past, no matter how many times you look at the picture it will never be real again. You create a facade and look fondly upon it, but the time is gone, and soon the photo will be lost in the rest of the memories that you captured and then forgot about,” Cammie looked up from the paper, inspecting the face of the person in front of her, her eyebrows raised slightly. “Well? What do you think? It’s only a chunk and I need to revise it, but I think it’s going somewhere.”

ashton was really the last person to give advice on homework or papers or anything of that nature. sure, she did well in school, great even, but most of her work dealt with creating an image out of nothing but descriptions or ideas in her mind. words weren’t here thing. running a hand through her hair she cleared her throat and shrugged, “i think it sounds pretty fucking awesome if you ask me. what’s the paper about exactly?”

ashton listened carefully for the majority of alexia’s mini rant before a smile washed across her face, her eyes scanning over alexia, “so....” drawing out she stepped closers, hooking her fingers on her right hand into lex’s shirt and pulling her close, “did someone piss you off today? ‘cause i could go full on party drunk again if you want.” she chuckled softly, winking at the taller girl.

“Watch this!” Cora exclaimed, confidently bending her legs a bit and aiming her hand at just the right angle. Or so she thought. The plastic cup practically flew across the table which caused the brunette to start laughing in a nervous manner. “Just kidding, that was a practice run.” Figures she could successfully flip the cup at any other time except now.

ashton’s eyebrow rose up as she lifted her head from her phone to watch the girl do whatever she was planning to do. a laugh was elicited when she saw the plastic cup fly across the table, “don’t worry, you can have as many practice rounds as you want sweetheart, i’ll take whatever one works as the first shot.” she gave her a soft wink before turning her phone off, “are you really that bored right now, though?”
