I'm A Vampire, Sookie | Evius
Amusement danced across his countenance, as a delightful smirk manifested. The girl was confident, inculpable, but still, intriguing. Darius shrugging lightly at her question, as he let out a throatily chuckle, “You would provide such? Well, you have just made my night significantly better.” he remarked, glancing at the blonde with clear intrigue in his eyes. The beginning was the best part of all, subtly sneaking in as many hints as he could at her ominous fate; however, as always, they remained completely clueless.
With calm yet charismatic demeanor, Darius continued to pierce her eyes with his own, making it almost impossible to resist the allure in those hypnotic green eyes. “I had an unpleasant turn of events earlier tonight, and,” That rare exposing that was albeit, about to happen, was something Darius had always associated with bad comedies and star-crossed lovers. Perhaps if tried, the night wouldn’t go as bad as he planned, and he wouldn’t feel the need to regret it the very next day. If Darius could so boldly say, this was a whole unchartered territory that elicited not a small degree of excitement from him. A new whole range of possibilities for him to screw up. In all the worst ways possible.
However, he was determined to stray away from any mentions of tonight which left him exhausted with the idea of talking with Eve of anything else. The night couldn’t be the least saved but it could be made slightly more bearable. She was, however, a better distraction than anybody could offer at that moment. And something else got the better of him as he swiftly diverted the topic towards her. “You know what? As unconventional as it is, I don’t want to keep you on your shift, but I also don’t want to leave, so, how about, you scrap the thought of boredom, and come round from there so we can enjoy a bottle? I’ll pay.”
"Well, considering my mood and the fact that tonight has been a complete bore, why not?" she chuckled as she perched her head against her palm and looked at him with a smirk, "you must be having a horrible night if I just made it significantly better" she snickered as she eyed him wondering what made the brooding man's night so off.
"Unpleasant? How so?" she questioned with a light frown wondering if she would be the best company right now, she herself was still picking up the pieces of her slightly messed up and migraine worthy life but her friend instinct kicked in soon enough, "you obviously don't need to speak about it, but if you'd like I'm all ears, if not then lets go with your suggestion and have a drink" she offered with a light smile as she pulled out a bottle of whiskey and two glasses before pouring him a generous amount and attending to her own glass.
"It's on the house, tonight has been horridly slow and well what my boss doesn't know won't kill him" she chuckled before hopping on to the counter and jumping off at his side. She slid on to the stool next to him with a smile and nudged his side, "so Darius, tell me about your brooding self" she demanded, her tone was light and teasing but it was pretty obvious that her curiosity reigned her question.
