Deidara is an art student that couldn’t find a job after college and goes to work at starbucks for 12 years. Sasori works at build-a-bear because “like this tiny heart, true art lasts forever.” Hidan literally kills at team sports. Murdered a dude during laser tag once. Kakuzu’s a med student who runs a gambling ring on the side. Pein is the president of the fraternity who dons a pink apron to work as a piercer at claire’s, while Konan is the closet nerd who just wants to fold anime-themed origami. Tobi didn’t go to college with them, but starts working alongside deidara at starbucks. Zetsu can’t decide on whether or not to be a dance major or a horticulture major, and Orochimaru is the weird 50yo dude that owns their frat house

I wish Batman was depicted like this more often. Many of his villains are mentally ill and victims of tragic circumstances, it would be nice to see him try to help them as much as he helps the people they put in danger because of their problems.

I had this weird idea that...what if...Grimdarks can get corrupted?

Like we (my rp partner and I) were thinking of how maybe Condesce found out about the Digital World and teleported the world to the Medium. As a consequence, the Digimon become real. She (or Jane) would find a D-Ring and have this brilliant idea of alchemizing it with the Crocker Corp tiara.

How Zack would go Grimdark: At one point in time, Liollmon--Zack's partner--would literally perish. Being the boy's only friend, Zack's emotions went berserk, causing him to darken up. If he god tiered before this, he would be a fairly powerful Page of Time. Something that the Condescension might want. This is where the "Crocker-Ring" comes in.

Zack would be hard to catch. Because he could be anywhere, at any time. So Condesce would probably get Jane to send out a "Crocker-Ring" after him, which grabs him at the throat and latches on, corrupting him.

...I over-think things, can't you tell? I like plotting shit.
