That feeling when someone sends you a pull request or forks your repository.
I just realized that tumblr lacks a good population of neckbeards because there seems to be a fascination with being able to make the console print out "Hello world" in an odd fashion. Hell i think if I did that in Perl though I'd be pretty fascinated. That's like neckbeard level material. Maybe these people are just bored.
i found this in tumblrs page code

Code has hidden sex appeal.
Sickness and Latest Updates
Hello!
So for the past few days I have had the unfortunate chance of getting a nasty cold, but we have some recent developments.
Oh boy, where to start. On Sunday, the networking was reworked to the point of being able to be called something that is not now a 'prototype' and is actually very close to the real image of what the finalized networking will look like on the server. I hate mentioning the idea of being 'near completion' on any feature and rather report when it is done. I feel safe enough for this though to mention it since I had the client sending messages to the server to see if everything was running smoothly.
Where to next? Well, I still have to fix the information flow for networking. To help you understand I'm going to paint a picture for you. Ready? Alright! Clear your mind and imagine a white room. Now, a slot on one of the walls of the room appear which other says "in" or "out". Mirror that on the opposite side of the room parallel to the wall with the opposite message not written on the specified wall. Make a bunch of these rooms, and then copy the rooms you just copied to create two groups of room connected to each other by the slots. An "in" slot is connected to an "out" slot and items can only travel from an "out" slot to an "in" slot. In each of these rooms is a person who will exchange an item for something else. Say we input candy in one room, we might get out ribbons to pass onto the next room and at the end of the change of exchanging we get out puppies. We'll get more specific with what we are passing around. In the first room, we pass raw materials. In the second room, from the first, we pass refined materials. In the third room, from the second, we pass products. In the fourth room, from the third, we pass packaged products.
How does this relate to the server development? Well, we're currently trying to figure out how to situate these rooms and determine what the end product needs to be. That's hard when there are many things to consider for the future but it's nice because you can fixate more layers onto the model if the specified output does not meet the requirements for what you need.
I realized in writing this I probably confused a bunch of people. Well...crap. Anyway.
As a reminder, remember we have a donation page up and the benefits for donating are fantastic!
You can read more about that here!
Have a great day guys

First Words
Hello everyone!
Today we start a very long journey down what I like the call the "RSPS Highway to Hell"! We have the donation system setup so that we can now start funding the project and soon we will be posting about the development process. Please note that the forums are in a state of repair and will be up shortly. We hope to hear from you all soon about what you would like to see in this server. We always listen intently to our players and take them seriously! If you have any advice, criticism, compliments please never hesitate to drop a message by. We have a very long way to go and we hope that you all come with us for the ride!
Enjoy your stay!

Welcome
Hello everyone,
I'd like to be the first to welcome you to the Evelus blog, your one stop destination for updates on what is happening in the Evelus universe. The forums at http://evel.us are not ready for public use and as soon as they are we will be sure to let you know here. Check in again soon, we hope to tickle your fancy with some nostalgic flash backs to old Runescape and also start giving you some insight as to what is going on with development.
Have a great day!
