Things to know about Evelyn Orman's character. I will be adding to this as time passes.
- Always double-takes herself in a mirror. Not usually out of envy. More of an OCD thing (Some snakes show signs of self-recognition in a smell-based "mirror test". I thought this was quite cute.)
- Chameleon effect! The more time she consecutively spends with people, the more traits/habits she picks up! (An odd take on being cold-blooded/adapting to temperatures)
- Often fasts (select snakes have been known to go months without eating in some situations).
- she loves cats; cats do not like her
- ["Unfortunately, to many owners' dismays, snakes lack the brain structures to feel emotion, but do have the ability to trust you. Despite this, snakes can be very loveable in their behaviour as they can recognise you. Pet snakes tend to use their owners as climbing trees and will wrap around them for warmth."] She is fascinated by Silco. Maybe even obsessed. Doesn't quite understand the dynamic yet. Very awkward. Just kind of stares sometimes, and forgets to blink. He's put off by it sometimes but has since gotten used to it. Sorry buddy.
- trusts her gut like a mf. Wears small bell earrings that dangle! They have felt lining the insides, so they only ding when she snaps her head in a certain direction or jerks about quickly and suddenly, and when you hear those bells sound, you'd better follow her gaze and/or movements. She's usually right regarding the source.
- high-frequency hearing loss (snakes have "ears" but no outer ear shape to reel in those squeaky-tones. Kinda like how some deaf people listen to rock music very loudly to feel the vibrations. Basically she can't hear the bells at all. She's not even aware that they make a noise.)
- Grew up outside of Piltover and Zaun, but has lived in the lanes for several years now.
- Has only recently learned how to fight but is very sneaky when needed (Silco has her take off her earrings to go on vigilante jobs and she has no clue why. He's yet to say anything. Wants to see if it'll come in handy later. Does he think she'll betray him? Maybe. I giggled when I think of Jinx speaking in a really high-pitched voice thinking Evelyn can't hear her.)
- Will go by any name. Evelyn, Eve, Lyn, Vel, Miss Orman, etc., etc., etc.... the list goes on.
- Helps Silco in hopes of turning Zaun from the equivalent of Drugee Capitol to an over-dramatized Hideaway Cubby Inn. She just wants to be comfy and to be able to take showers and brush her teeth without wondering how much runoff might be stuck to the pipe lining.
- babysat Jinx when she was smaller but still old enough to have gotten into Silco's care
- babysits Sevika when she drinks too much the night prior
