Even after Sami and Kevin’s beatdown and their statements at house shows that he’s Shane’s stooge, it’s interesting Daniel continues to stress that he admires and feels a bond with Sami and Kevin. There’s tension between Daniel and Shane; there’s tension between Kevin and Sami. One of the only things we can be pretty sure of is that this isn’t going to be a straightforward, simple match.

WWF Champion The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) [November 27th, 1991]

In the first ever singles match in Survivor Series history, newcomer The Undertaker overcame Hulkamania by defeating Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship. The Undertaker, who’d made his WWF debut only one year earlier at the same event, defeated Hogan due to interference from Ric Flair. Because of that, a rematch was signed for This Tuesday In Texas only 6 days after the title win, where Hogan defeated the Deadman to regain the title. The victory made The Undertaker the youngest-ever WWF Champion at 26, a record that would stand until Yokozuna won the gold in 1993.
