Age: 30-something mortal years, a month or so as a Kindred
"Day"job: Forensic pathologist
Appearance: Ghostly, desaturated. Pale skin, pale blond, limp hair, pale eyes. Chainsmoker. A Trenchcoat, slacks and a blouse that somehow still has coffee stains.
Personality: Think grimy detective noire mixed with detached scientist mixed with hecata weirdness with a secret dollop of hopeless romantic
Backstory (spoilered if you wanna find out yourself!):
Child of a rich family who cut her off when she broke up with her then fiancé to get together with her girlfriend who became her fiancée in turn. Her fiancée was murdered and the case went cold. This broke her - and she has made it her goal to find a way to bring her back to life.
I know vampires allegedly smell very very bad. "Like if an infected wound was stuffed full of rotting kitchen waste and maggots", as I'm told. Personally I don't smell anything.
I also know vampires are leeches or whatever. Like they suck the life out of everything they touch. Fangs notwithstanding.
I also know I'm not allowed to go to parties or concerts or anything because of that. At least, she's not allowed to know... Lol
No, you ain't fuckin' qualified. You're not even a year dead. You got no idea what kind of sacrifices us Duskborn have had to make to survive in this fuckin world, and I hope you never do, cuz that means the Beetlejuices of the world have done their jobs and made the world a bit better for you little shits.
I mean, really? Do you really think I just jumped into a Blood Bond deal for some random shit? Our People have proper rights in My City because of me!
Because of my deal!
Because I earned the right to become Her Daughter!
fine, i dont know what im getting into, but, im sorry you had to sacrifice so much for 'us'. you didnt deserve that. i just hope you can survive till your fix, because i clearly cannot help you
You know how If ya drink Vampire blood you can get "Bound?" It's that. It's just that. I drank My Pince Mother's blood as part of a deal, and now I do it on the monthly as a way to... show My Commitment.
FUCK good choice. Maybe I’ll go get some once this late client finally turns up.
Oh you’re from Berlin, aren’t you, sugar? Heard Doner is pretty popular over there. Take a night flight to Sydney sometime, we’ve got some pretty good kebab over here too.
Ideal choice to grab after a long night at work. Wasn't much of a cook when I still lived, not after my fiancée died. Fried chicken isn't all that prevalent here, we got KFC, I believe that's it. Pretty good.
Haven't even thought of traveling being an option anymore. I don't often drink from people directly, could be nice. Maybe once my work here is done.
Night bloggers, how do you prevent your loved ones from trying to help you? My brother seems to think something is more amiss than usual. I cannot have him get involved with any of this.
I do feel different, for the record. Less soft, less bothered by my new life now. But also empty.
Hello Vamily!
It's been a hot minute since I last created an ask game, and since we all love getting to know each other's creations and enjoy talking about them, I present to you:
The rules are simple!
Rebloggers:
Reblog this post and tag the names of the characters you’re offering up for questions. Once you receive asks, answer them in character as if that character has taken the wheel.
If the person who sent the ask has also reblogged, feel free to send a question back their way!
Askers:
Send an ask to someone who has reblogged this with the number of the question AND the name of the character you’re asking.
Sounds good? Let's go!

I really gotta stop bringing dinner home with me. Whether it's a blood doll or just a hookup, I'm always halfway to biting when they suddenly start asking about the scorpion coffin.
Punk Sorcerer problems ig
Maybe it's just the fact that one of my childer was an US Army medic in life, but hot take, I don't really think blood bags are a meaningful form of harm reduction to our existence. I'm not criticizing if that's how you want to unlive, but when it comes to feeding you're either gambling on a bite going wrong, or drinking blood that was pretty much guaranteed to go to someone that actually needed it.
Personally I think feeding on ghouls is the most ethical things can be for us, not that it's saying much. At least they have the vitality to be more likely to survive if there's an accident
I'm a medic myself, I get it. I try to opt for AB, when I can. But the reason I drink from bags is availability, and keeping to the masquerade.
I'd argue the most ethical way to feed is from corpses, albeit I would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't have ready access to them and an easy way to cover up for any oddities on the corpses. If you are in such a position, then it is masquerade-friendly enough.
I guess I could feed on my Sires ghoul he lent to me, but I would hardly be proving myself if I kept relying on his Ressources.
I really gotta vent about these dumb neonates not understanding the Masquerade. Keep having one of my Sweepers dragging some dumb lick to my bar that aint even a year dead because they were out lifting a car over their head or some shit. And they're always like "what's the big deal, we're Anarchs, that means no rules!"
And I'm like "listen here, lick, we're Anarchs, we're not stupid." Anarchy doesn't mean you do whatever you want. It means the community chipping in to handle everything without some fucking Cammie capes and their facist "Sheriff" crusing around looking for excuses to cut your head off. In this case, it means me having to beat some fledgling's ass at least once a month to teach them that there are consequences to bringing down heat from the kine on every lick in town. Smh
Truth be told, I'm (pleasantly!) surprised to see there are level headed people among the anarchs. The few I've met have been more than happy leaving their corpses around for us to clean up.
Unlike most Cammies I've actually read the Treaty of Thorns. We keep the Masquerade, they leave us alone. Those are the terms. Not that the average Cammie cape has actually read the treaty or had any intention of following their half of the bargain.
The Masquerade is just common sense. I prefer when there's not hunters kicking down my door. The Masque keeps them away
Treaty of thorns? I shall try to read up on it. I'll admit, I'm barely aware of the politics beyond my city. My sire is Camarilla, and thus I am. But I can't say I'm not relieved by the structure it provides. Unlife seems harder without it.
