M83, aka Anthony Gonzalez, announces the highly anticipated details of his forthcoming full-length album, ‘Junk’ out April 8. The announce comes with a brand...
“Do It, Try It” - the title of M83′s first release from the forthcoming “Junk” album and perhaps what was said after it was suggested they spend a total of five minutes on the artwork for it... But I like where Anthony Gonzalez’s head’s at in this press release:
“Anything we create today is going to end up being space junk at one point anyway, and I find it really fascinating and scary at the same time - beautiful too in a way. I have this image of pieces of humanity floating in space, lost forever.”
Upcoming shows:
6 April 2016 - New Orleans, Louisiana; Civic Theatre
8 April 2016 - Dallas, Texas; The Bomb Factory (album release date)
9 April 2016 - Houston, Texas; White Oak Music Hall
10 April 2016 - Austin, Texas; Stubb’s
15 April 2016 - Indio, California; Coachella

Tame Impala improves upon their "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" music video with their newest effort:"Mind Mischief." It's phenomenal—hilarious, visually stunning, and sexy (what's sexier than hot-boxing with the hottest teacher in school?). —DJD
Judging by the cover art for Starfucker’s new single “Atlantis,” I wouldn’t exactly want to go on a binger down at the Bahamian resort of the same name with this Portland-based band, but the ES crew will be sure to bring the song down with us on our next holy pilgrimage to Paradise Island. —Z

Bonobo's new cut "Cirrus" picks up where his memorable tracks "Kiara" and "All in Forms" left off on 2010's full-length Black Sands. To me, these ethereal, reality-suspending beats fall somewhere in the vicinity of those of Four Tet and Korallreven, but they're especially close to the work of the UK's Gold Panda. This guy has refused to publicize his name as anything more than "Derwin," and his generic animal-plus-modifier stage name isn't going to help his cause in some circles, but in my book he's managed to stake a claim on the chill end of the electronic music spectrum where songs don't inherently have to sound like dial-up internet tones. Check out his new EP, Trust, (especially the last song) below:
