I haven't posted in a very long time and I can't say that I will continue to be present on this platform, but, I figured this blog saw me through so much I deserve to make a post about this.

For the first time in 12 years I changed boarding barns. The ranch became incredibly toxic to me and I am grateful I got my horses and dogs out.

The BF and I own a home now. We lost Tesla and Naponyeon last year. We have a puppy now.

I've not been very active, but, needless to say.... I'm doing well. Horses are doing well. Dogs are doing good. I even have a new dog!

I'm still going on adventures and have a job I love, even though it kicks my butt daily. The BF and I live together now.

Maybe I'll be more active in the future but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

But regardless, happy holidays everyone.

Volly is looking so good today and so perky. He's getting to eat warm soupy senior mash, and his cough isn't as bad as it was yesterday.

I just spoke to Dr Grose, she said our boy is looking really good this morning and he's highly upset he's not getting any real food. He's playing in his water and perky. Tomorrow he'll have a second blood panel run and a recheck on his ultrasound to see how he's doing, and he can possibly get a go home plan started tomorrow :) Thank you to everyone for the good thoughts and prayers. The vet staff is incredible and doing a fantastic job, and your support for me during this difficult time means a lot.

Please keep your favorite Toastergoat in your thoughts and prayers. He's currently hospitalized with a very bad choke, and things are 50/50 right now. The next 48 hours are critical for him to pass it.

🎉 THE CHOKE HAS CLEARED 🎉

This morning came bearing bad weather but good news, as Dr. Grose was able to confirm Aladdin's choke has resolved. This is fantastic news and helps his prognosis a lot.

However, he is not out of the woods yet, as she was also able to confirm that he has aspirated into both lungs and has pneumonia. He is on a pretty heavy dose of antibiotics and will be staying at the clinic for observation and treatment for at least three more days. There is also concern that the stress that this has caused his body may cause him to colic or founder, so we are keeping fingers crossed and hopes high for this best boy.
