i think that when bakura decides he wants some privacy in his own head or while studying he takes the ring off and leaves it somewhere in the living room but out of sheer courteousness he always takes the extra second to turn the TV on for it. it is not clear to anyone if yami bakura is capable of watching TV while not possessing eyes, whether he has noticed, or if he cares. but it's the thought that counts

#after reading the tags i'll also go with yami bakura #yami bakura's also just the funniest answer #true he's very patient but he has moments of impulsion especially when he feels confident in something #or the funnier answer he's trying to lay low and scheme and that leaves him open for someone to just ram right into him #jonouchi was initially my answer but he's made it to the finals of every tournament he's been in he's a survivor #Malik is a reckless driver but i'm assuming this is post battle city and he also has Rishid with him #seto kaiba knows how to drive a helicopter i think he'll be fine #yugi is the king of games but not the king of cars (and also a good amount of people would be targeting him)#i'm honestly gonna say ishizu wins because she deserves to #and also because everyone else would make a reckless mistake at some point

#it's weird to me the anime gave ryou the trait of eating a lot but as far as i know #they didn't include the scene of TKB breaking into a restaurant throwing down a gold bracelet and saying “feed me” in the anime #which sucks because that scene is hilarious #mixing yugioh canons is my favorite activity

#nightmare troubadour malik is so good #You meet him and he just doesn't know how to act like a normal person so he just acts out a poor imitation of what he thinks a friend says #and then after you defeat yami malik every time after you duel him he says #“that's why you were able to erase the darkness in my heart!”#and he sends you an in game letter thanking you for freeing his dark side #he has So Much Guilt he will not stop reminding you of his dark side #also his sprite makes it seem like he has a purple skirt that matches his hoodie on and that's a great outfit for him #he's also the only high level duelist that spawns in the morning instead of night because he's scared of the dark #“ahhhhhh! gwaaaaaa!”#actual dialogue #i actually really like how his post game sprite has the eyes that appear less wide eyed because he's actually being himself this time #i have a lot to say i really like how they add to some of the characters in this game #his name in namu

Ryou and Malik friendship sort of unexplored to me because it usually has Malik as the protective one and Ryou as the ditzy one but I think it’s kind of the opposite. Like Malik has never been anything but the ultimate spoiled (comparatively) little sibling that is being showered with attention and Ryou relatively recently lost a baby sister he is clearly not coping so well with so I think Ryou would actually be inclined to see himself as the older brother in any given scenario. Not necessarily good at it, but it is how he would see himself.

i’ve just been reminded of some of the kinda silly things that reveal that someone’s main source of canon is the anime. do anime-only yugioh fans know one of the tells is bringing up saving the world like it’s a chronic issue

#recently learned the anime (4kids) changed malik's motivation to wanting to steal the puzzle to gain the powers of the pharaoh #and take over the world #exactly what powers would those be i'm not sure (being king of games?)#you have a way better shot at taking over the world with the millennium rod you know that right #the puzzle is like the one millennium item with no extra abilities even Yami said that Yugi's wish for friends was not granted by him
