The Girl Who Waited,
My husband and I have been playing around with some new photoshop brushes that make it easier to do nice line art. He’s farther along in mastering the technique and doing an awesome piece that should be up on the facebook fan page this next week. This is my test piece to kind of figure out how the whole thing works. I’m still getting used to it, but, you can see the lines are nice and crisp. Plus, it’s going to let me go back and complete some drawings where I had messed up the hand inking originally.

Illustration from last September, out in the January Friend. Thanks AD Mark Robison!
Gorgeous work by Simini Blocker
I am so missing summer right now. And ice-cream.
Some process shots for Rapunzel.
Rapunzel. You can check out more from Lunar Fox on our webpage and our facebook page.
Cold Weather. Warm Hearts.
A little bit magic
Battle ready.
We all have those moments.
Is there anything better than art supplies? Maybe. But I’m not sure what. My husband and I are now doing work under the name Lunar Fox. You can check out our webpage, facebook, and instagram. No tumblr though, so from time to time I’ll update this one with new projects.
Some friends require extra measures.
A little practice painting.
A little county fair and summer festival love. Corn dogs are my favorite, but I was at a city festival earlier this summer and saw this girl running through the crowd with her ice-cream and it just sort of encapsulated that feeling of childhood excitement for these types of events. Also, just a quick update, I’ve been absent from my tumblr for quite a while because my husband and I are working on a new venture called Lunar Fox Illustration & Design. We’ll be kicking it off at the South Bend Art Beat this year where we’ll be selling prints. Leading up to that we’ll be having some give-aways on our facebook, twitter, and instagram, so give us a follow and keep your eyes peeled!
