3-4/100 days of productivity 18-19.03.17 This weekend was amazing, staying in touch with friends is an important part of my happiness. Didn't get much studying done, but I'll make up for it tomorrow.

17.03.17 2/100 days of productivity. Had a therapeutic day to myself and spent it indulging in my fave author. Threw in a throwback shot of my room when I still had a laptop and my trip to eastbourne. Travelling tomorrow to Northampton tomorrow for my friend's birthday. I'll try to sneak some work in
i found a $2 rainbow pencil today so i was THRILLED

Stuck in London, still haven’t got a laptop and I have an assignment due in a week. I’ll make this work 16.03.2017 Day 1/100 days of productivity. Thought I should start fresh. Also, I worked out today; the pain is no joke
So much has happened over this past week and I'm beyond flustered! My laptop and my phone both broke, one day after each other and 3 days before I had an assignment deadline; everything was gone. Had to do everything from scratch. Ugh. So much. But I can't let the lack of a laptop stop me from working, I guess. I need positive vibes
2/03/2017 Started late but day 2/100 of my 100 days of productivity Working on transcribing an interview for sociology, it’s harder work than I expected
50/100 days of productivity (halfway done!) - dec 18, 2016
how to study effectively!
everyone has their own way and preference to studying, but this is just my suggestion! here are just a few pieces of advice i have:
take notes that you can understand
- avoid copying powerpoint notes word for word. instead, rewrite it in a way you would understand it and be able to easily comprehend it later on when you study.
- also try to take notes in a way that if you were to give it to a friend, they would understand the concept/lesson
snazz up your notes!
- of course this is just my preference, some people prefer not to and thats perfectly okay
- for me, making my notes visually appealing encourages me to actually read it! this is why i try to make my notes pretty, not to take pictures but to encourage and engage me to study
try not to cram! - study over time
- although it’s tempting, try your absolute best to spread out your studying days.
- set up a calendar! write down what you will study on certain days leading up until the test day
- it has been proven that this method is one of the best ways to keep the information in your long term memory!! meaning you will remember the content for a longer time which will especially come in handy for cumulative tests at the end of the semester
- i frequently cram too and i really do believe that if i had spread out my studying, my grades would have been much better
write down thoughts, questions, comments
- when studying, especially from a textbook, it’s actually a good idea to write down any comments and questions you have about the text. this engages you and it actually helps you remember what you read and makes the content personally meaningful to you!
- making content personally meaningful is super helpful in comprehending and understanding information
use post-its for textbooks
- when studying from a textbook, use post its to summarize a section/paragraph/etc. in your own words.
- this helps because when you go back to study, you can just look at the post-it and know what the passage is about without having to read the whole thing.
these are just some of the tips that i’ve gathered from my own learning & studying experience that i think will help many people study more effectively!!
good luck to everyone on their studies💓
