Another day bringing me closer to the deadline. I am almost done with the revisions so I'm right on schedule. Overall I am feeling confident I will be done in time.

today was terribly messy. i was able to get my 6h exam over with in the first three hours, but i'm running the worst cold of the past few months. nevertheless we pulled through!!! i was still able to finish at least one of the things i promised myself to do so that's a win in my books

Just need to get through one final exam for Law & Legal Process and a presentation for American Indigenous Languages. After tomorrow, I’ll be done with the semester and plan on spending summer break volunteering at city and metro parks, probably removing a lot of invasive amur honeysuckle.

i'm sorry for not posting yesterday; i didn't really do much, and it was kind of a rough day for me. today was more productive compared to yesterday. it’s difficult for me to stay motivated or happy when i'm around people who don’t really believe in me, but it’s okay. i have to remind myself that this gap year is my decision. no matter what happens in the end, at least i'll be happy that i gave it my best shot. i really hope everything works out though.

30 page paper on why literature matters (lovely!), 15 page paper on multiliteracies, and 50 pages for cultural studies – the second half being an absolute dream! – That makes 95 pages read in the last 24h. Had a job interview this morning, and am currently working on flashcards for my linguistics exam; still have to the assignment for my writing class and might go book-shopping later today :)
