The rules are:
1. Play nice; be respectful to others. I will hesitantly allow anti-propaganda for now, but will change that if people get too mean
2. Blorbos can be of any age, since a found family can be just that. So feel free to submit a one-day old infant or a ten thousand year old tree, if those are your blorbos
3. No Harry Potter
4. No real people (might make an exception if it's funny)
5. For the moment, no OCs. All your OCs are great and I'd feel sad if they got rejected from the found family

Q. How does this work?
A. A post featuring a blorbo shall be made, stating who they are and their source material. A poll will be attached set to one week, asking if we should "adopt" or "ditch" the blorbo. At the end of the week, based on the result, I will announce if they blorbo has been adopted into the tumblr found family or ditched on the roadside
Q. What is a found family?
A. A found family is a family you find for yourself. It is a term often used in fandom to describe a group of characters who aren't related by blood (although a few members might be) but have come to think of each other as a family through circumstance. Alternatively, they might not be officially recognised as a found family in canon, but wider fanon regards them as such
Q. Is this a tournament bracket?
A. Nope, blorbos aren't competing against each other, they're only here to be judged by you. We are here enternally submitting blorbos (at least until I run out of steam or pass away lol)
Q. I'm not sure if my blorbo counts because of ___ reason?
A. If it's not any of the reasons mentioned in the rules, then feel free to send an ask. Or just submit them anyway and I'll decide
Q. I submitted a blorbo and they haven't been posted. Did you get them?
A. Again, feel free to send an ask. I don't have a regular schedule for posting these. Somedays there'll be batches of polls, others there'll be one or none
Q. My blorbos are a duo/trio/etc., who cannot be separated. Can I submit them as a group?
A. While I would prefer to stick to individual characters, if you have some who absolutely cannot be separated, I might make exceptions. Most likely, I'll make a poll asking if they should be judged as a group or individually, since there's a lot of media I won't be familiar with
Q. My blorbo got ditched on the roadside! Fuck you!
A. Friend, as a fan of Theseus from Hades Game and Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug, I understand what it's like to have your fave hated by fandom. Anything decided on this blog can never affect your personal headcanons, so go in peace with your middle finger held high
Q. What are your icon and header?
A. The icon is of the Pokemon Bouffalant and Natu, based on a series of trading card art where Bouffalant finds two Natu and rescues them - the true spirit of found family. The header is a group of characters called the Black Ravens from the Professor Layton series - a group of ragtag working-class kids who work together to make a black market

You'll notice there are already 8 characters on the bracket, these characters are Taranza, Daroach, Bandana Dee, King Dedede, Shadow Kirby, Dark Meta Knight, Marx, and Magolor! There's no need to submit these characters since they're automatically in ^-^
Those of you who haven't been around for Season 1 or Season 2 may be confused about why Kirby and Meta Knight aren't here, and the answer is that Kirby won Season 1, and Meta Knight won Season 2, so they will be left out of Season 3 to give others a chance at winning!
Qualifications for submissions
The characters you submit must:
Be a Kirby character, no OCs allowed!
Show signs of sentience! (ex: While Whispy Woods is a tree, he has definitely shown signs of sentience and emotions! Therefore, you can submit Whispy Woods here!)
Not have already been denied entry from Season 1 and Season 2 (you can check if a character has been denied by looking in the #poll character: denied! tag!)
Be submitted using the google form found below! If you try to submit a character using the askbox, it will be ignored and deleted!
Rules for Submissions
Do not submit Kirby or Meta Knight, since Kirby won Season 1 and Meta Knight won Season 2!
Do not submit the characters already in the bracket (Taranza, Daroach, Bandana Dee, King Dedede, Shadow Kirby, Dark Meta Knight, Marx, and Magolor!)
You can submit multiple characters, but please don't submit the same character multiple times!
Characters from the anime, novels, and manga are allowed! However, manga, novel, and anime versions of already existing characters (specifically characters that we already have a large understanding of from the games, like Kirby, Marx, Magolor, Meta Knight, etc.) will not be allowed! Manga characters that play small roles in the games will be allowed!
Only a total of 64 characters will be allowed in the bracket, and 8 slots have already been filled, so only 56 characters will be making it onto the bracket!
Certain characters can be submitted together! (For example (but not limited to): Adeleine and Ribbon, Tiff and Tuff/Fumu and Bun, Lololo and Lalala, and the Mage Sisters!)
Kirby villains/monsters are allowed!
Even if a character has enough votes to qualify, they may be turned down from the tournament! The mod will make a public announcement for the character, and explain why.

The number of submissions needed for a character to be safely on the bracket will depend on the number of submissions this gets, but it'll be somewhere along the lines of 3-6 submissions!
Even if a character doesn't have enough submissions by the time it closes, they'll still have a chance to get in the bracket by winning their Preliminary Round Poll!
The Submission Form will be open until Monday, August 21st at 9pm EST or until this receives 350+ submissions!

MATCH-UP NOTES:
Where the same character has been included, I've tried to space them apart as much as possible. There is a Tails in every corner of bracket. There is a Shadow in most corners
At some point, we will probably be doing Tails vs Tails. Possibly even more than once. We all need to make peace with this now
I am genuinely sorry if your fave got matched against a Tails in Round One :( Best of luck!
Outside of that, match-ups are random. These are all tournament winners, so I couldn't really seed them. I know some of these tournaments got 3k votes while others got 30 votes, but there were just too many for me to check each one, especially with some blogs hosting many tournaments
I've also tried as best I can to keep the same blog's winners from going up against each other in Round One. If you're a poll runner who runs multiple Sonic poll blogs and two of your winners are up against each other, I do apologise - I feel like there's only a few of us running all these polls and it's hard to keep track of who runs what
LASTLY, I don't intend to run another edition of this tournament once this one concludes, so I'm sorry to any newer Sonic tournaments who missed out. If anyone wants to use this concept for newer tournaments in future, then you have my blessing :)
