How to Tame a Wild Tongue by Gloria Anzoldúa. As part of my self education into speaking spanish and the history of the language, I dug up this incredible essay on how language and identity are tied together. Her writing style is beautiful. Her main points are poignant. Finally finished this one! I highly reccomend if your loved one or spouse has ADHD. It is full of information and resources for you both. Jj and I have been listening to it together on and off for several months (it's a lot to digest). This book is the reason he is going to the doctor to get tested for adult ADHD. It has also helped me as a teacher to foster more patience and understanding for my students who have ADHD.
