Whoops, sorry, I spoke too soon. I have now read it all and it exceeded my expectations by far. This idea was pure genius (not digging in mount doom, but the premise for this story, haha). Anyway, I'm just dropping you a line to let you know how terribly impressed I am and to say you don't have to answer my former ask.
