Welcome to the SQ Kinktober 25 blog
As you might expect, this blog is fully dedicated to hosting the SwanQueen 2025 Kinktober event
Anyone can participate, fanfics, fanart, any length, any language are welcome as long as it complies to our (very few) rules
There are basically only four:
All work should include some version of the SwanQueen ship (can be Regina x Emma, Evil Queen x Dark Swan etc...). It doesn't have to be ONLY them, but they should of course be included.
No generative AI can be used
There is no hard limits on the topics you can explore through the prompts, BUT your work should be properly tagged before it can be added to the collection
BE NICE. Creators work hard on their works, so please don't leave them hate on their works. Don't like? Keep Scrolling.
We created an AO3 collection you can freely add your work to
(It's only moderated so we can make sure fics are properly tagged/avoid eventual spam)
If anyone needs it, the organizers of this event do have some AO3 invites available, please don't hesitate to contact us if you want one.

Is there a minimum/maximum wordcount?
There is no minimum or maximum word count! But AO3 does have a minimum of 50 words or so in order to post a work, so that's the only constraint you'll have if you want to post to the collection.
Are crossovers/AU accepted?
Crossover and/or AU works are absolutely accepted! We want our writers to have complete freedom of creativity. As long as Swan Queen is more or less the main focus, crossover away!
When is the deadline to be added to the collection?
The official challenge is to complete the prompts within the month of October; however, we will accept submissions to the AO3 collection through November 15th! Life happens, and we are completely understanding of that. After November 15th, you are still more than welcome to post and tag us in your works, but it will not be included in the official collection for this year.
