sometimes when you think about asking for closure, you have to ask yourself about the worth of that closure. if the “closure” comes in the form of a conversation that adds to your growth as a person, where you have moved on from the relationship but want to know lessons moving forward, that’s one thing. but if you have someone that hurt you, mistreated you, disrespected you, what’s the worth of that closure? what’s the worth of allowing them to have the last say in determining whether or not you move on? why give that person’s words so much respect when they gave you so little?
