â Illusions from the past || Minwoo & Maya
So, Mr. crazy color demon did not have a plan. Which was fine, really, but Minwoo had no idea how to contribute to the- whatever this was- that was going on. He eyed the other, and then remembered why he had enlisted the help of the rainbow dude in the first place, his sister. âGood idea,â he answered and offered the other a smile as he walked over to the nearest scumbag and his his head to get attention. âWhere is the girl that came this way.â He asked first, not knowing if the girl he had seen even went this way at all. The demon made a gurgling sound before telling Minwoo to fuck off and that he had seen no girl. Minwoo, not amused, kicked him again and asked again where the girl was. Yet the demon did not answer again and Minwoo huffed in annoyance. âsqueeze them dry hm?âÂ
Being a blood demon was fun sometimes. So Minwoo did what the other had suggested, and slowly turned his fingers in a motion that suggested that he was listening to a steady rhythm. Truth was that he listened to the way the heart of the demon underneath him pumped, and pumped and pumped. And he followed it through the body as he, one by one, closed off the arteries and made the blood become little props inside. Stopping the blood from circulating and very slowly making the otherâs body stop functioning. âWhere is the girl.â âNo answer. âFine.â Minwoo mumbled and snapped his fingers which made the maleâs heart stop completely.Â
"I donât think she went this way." Minwoo said, looking at the other as he kicked the body out of the way and observed the other demons still in agony. "So you want to have these? Iâll wait and watch." He knew how sadistic most demons were and given the scenery in front of him, Maya was no different
âOf course, I am full of only good ideas. Never bad ideas, obviously you underestimated me.â Maya took his time in priding himself on his brilliant quick-witted plan development methods, an action that urged his body to sag rather unceremoniously against a nearby buildup of wooden boxes that had most likely housed some form of animal for the sake of transport to the markets that were nearby in a fate of public auction. Since the two blithering brutes were so engrossed in their own douse of measly pain, really it was no worse than falling off a bike and breaking an arm, he took his pleasure in observing the interrogation that had begun to unfold before him. The allied demon of his acquaintance from the academyâs walls was a fair negotiator, but either the brute being targeted was truly stubborn of information-giving, or simply an innocent soul who knew nothing of the sister that was being sought. Regardless to the situation, Maya felt little empathy for him.
Normally, the observations of other demons was not something that warranted the Okamiâs interest, but this was one of such times where an exception could be made. Aside from how typical the victims cries of anguish were, Maya had never seen one of his kind with this specific ability. By the way the body began to leech into a red-splotched mess of bursting veins from within the flesh, there was only one assumption to be drawn from the sight. Moowoo, or whatever it was which he called himself, was some form of demon with blood-control. Curious, very curious. The brightly colored demon slunk away from the position he had maintained against the wooden crates as the body hit lifeless finality upon the ground below.
âThatâs too bad. Well, since you offered and since I enjoy a little fun...â The demon smiled a bit, the gleam that was bound to the depths of his eyes a rather unfortunate one that seemed all too foreboding to the two brutes who, up until this point, had remained grounded. âDo you guys know what is more fun than a broken leg? Not breathing.â And with that, the Okami descendant let loose a wave of illusions that choked each of the brutes and left them essentially strangling themselves of much needed oxygen. As they struggled to regain their breathing, hands frantically clutching at their throats, Maya moved toward his game-play ally and whispered in a lazy drawl. âWhen I get us out of this world, they will regain their senses slowly, so we will have to make the most of it and get away if you donât want to deal with more brute labor.â
