🎀 Sacrifice tomorrow ୭ Tainted feathers
x
He loved it- seeing the angel so without power and without anything that made the angel- angelic. It was pathetic and that was everything the demon enjoyed and adored. He wanted the creature to wilt and then bloom again only to shrivel up under his own touch. He needed it, a sick redemption for his own actions that had not been evil enough. His own arc toward the darkness that he had within himself; unnamed but always there and hungry for more. Starving for true cruel intentions and now finally being fed as he abused the other’s mind so beautifully.
The feathers were put away again- safe and sound. A gift he had been blessed with- ironically gifted by a creature who had fallen deeper than he could ever be. He had seen the light go dark, he had seen the fresh springs of youth and love darken into muddy oceans that held the darkest pits of hatred. The bodies that had been slain in His honour to built a palace so large you could dance forever in it. Yes- he knew how deep angels could fall.
Not this one though, if Shiloh fell it would be pathetic. He needed the other to stay on the edge. Remain pure in some form to stay entertaining to the demon. “I know you don’t my love.” the arch-demon whispered.
Touches- the demon’s red eyes looked into the bright eyes of the angel and smiled at him. He was beautiful, the demon thought as he caressed the other’s soft skin. It burned slightly on his own; did it too for Shiloh? He wondered about it as he nodded “I will give you a world for yourself.” he promised in a whisper before Shiloh let go and walked over to his android. Minwoo paused, rather fond of this one and wondered what was going to happen.
He did not think J. and Shiloh were the same at all- he looked at the droid for a moment unsure and saw their blue eyes flicker over to it’s master and then to Shiloh before looking forward again as if they saw nothing.
The demon knew, that while they were nothing more than machines, they had something that was akin to personalities. “J. is a unique prototype,” Minwoo said as he got up from his seat and walked over to the two- looking at Shiloh for a moment and then at the droid. “I got him not too long ago at an auction, he was easily installed and does everything I ask it to. I could ask it to self-destroy and it would, right, J.?”
The android looked at Minwoo when spoken to and while there was no expression he did not like where this was going. Even so- “I would self-destruct upon request.” He answered the demon. Blinking a few times at the demon and wondering whether he would have to actually self-destruct. While an android he definitely did not want to stop being. Fear made it’s way into it’s chest.
Minwoo did not notice it- he only could sense things from those with blood in their veins and the droids did not have that. Instead he smiled and patted the android’s shoulder.
“As it should be, for creatures to respect arch-demons. J. knows that. Do you?” The demon asked the angel as he looked at Shiloh with a tilted head and dared him with his eyes before shrugging. “I won’t ask J. to self-destruct though, it is way too valuable and amusing. It has extra music functionalities and my son is quite fond of it as well.” He gestured for Shiloh to follow him. “You should aim higher than to mimic an android Shiloh, they do not have souls or their own minds. You do, so what you can give me is way more valuable. J. has to be mine, you chose to be mine. And to give yourself to another- is it not the ultimate state of existence? I own all these souls but you I desire in your corporeal form. Do you not see how special you are and how special we can be.”
There was no we in Minwoo’s dictionary when it came to Shiloh but he wanted the other to think there was. It was something that was needed for the other to desire to be there.
J. felt relieved as the demon said he was too unique to destroy. To live another day- he thought to himself as he looked at Shiloh with disgust, the two were distracted so he allowed himself a facial expression as he looked at the two. The angel had compared himself to him- what a fucking joke. He wondered how long the other would be around to annoy him. Too long, probably, he knew that his master was playing games. If anything, he was smarter than Shiloh and his dumb crush.
He thought Minwoo liked him better too. For sure. At least he wasn’t being lied to like Shiloh was. Dumb fucking angel.
